I recently discovered these Kashi bars while I was traveling and needed something to eat while I was driving. I drove in all almost 1,000 miles in several stages and didn't want to have to stop for meals at rest stops. They were great to have in the car, didn't leave me hungry in 15 minutes, and tasted good. I like them better than the similar flavor of the PowerBar.
They are called Kashi GoLean Protein and Fiber bars or, more recently, Kashi GoLean Dipped! bars. I like the PB & Chocolate flavor.
I am trying to buy some now that I am back at work. I like to have something to eat in the afternoon that enables me to last through the rest of the day and an after-work workout. Maybe a box of 12 or so.
H just checked Costco this morning for me and they didn't have them.
Have you tried Whole Foods? DH and I each eat a bar in the morning-- I eat a Luna bar and he eats a Clif Builders Protein bar. I get them at WF, because they are cheaper there and I get a 10% discount if I buy 12 or each.
Thanks for the advice. I didn't think to check WF. That price on Amazon is a lot more expensive than what I can get here in a 4-pack at my momandpop grocery. They are about a buck a piece. Obviously, I will only buy in bulk if I can find a cheaper price.
