I'm making a packing list for my interview. I don't need much *stuff* since I'll only be out of town one night, but I want to make sure I have everything I need with me during the interview itself.
Here's the deal: My interview is approximately 8 hours long. I'll be meeting with people all day, going on a 30 minute walking tour of campus, and eating lunch/interviewing with a current student. Please let me know if there is anything I'm forgetting
-Ativan    :Y: -portfolio/pen -makeup bag -floss -shout wipes -tissues -mints -deodorant -water/energy bar -bandaids
cash for a vending machine for water/quick snack, or the parking garage. Maybe spare change if you might need to use meters
protein or granola bar to scarf in a corner if you get hungry before lunch, or in the middle of the afternoon
lip balm
travel sized brush/hair spray
extra copies of your cover letter and resume (I assume this is already in your portfolio, but thought I'd throw that out there just in case)
travel sized steamer - because we all know hotel irons suck, and I always need to steam something at the last minute. You can probably pick one up at Target if you need it tomorrow, or you can order one online.

Lint roller, bandaids unless your wearing shoes you know are comfy and an umbrella on standby if your walking around campus, hand lotion, baby wipes in case you drop food on yourself or need fresh armpits. A couple snacks and water. Copies of relevant documents...resume, CV, whatever
