When it gets cold, you can make waffles with cornbread batter and serve chili over them with cheese and whatnot. Mmmmm.
I think you should start a waffle blog, and have some sort of waffle every day.
Anyway, I wanted to share my waffle knowledge (walledge?) and didn't know if you'd go back to your OP.

Also, you can totally grate potatoes and shove those in there. It takes like 15 minutes, but it ends up being amazing hash browns.

Pinterest always has something about putting canned cinnamon rolls or brownie batter into waffle irons too.
