Hi guys, I haven't been around a whole lot lately because in addition to the pile of babies and the job, I've been working on a novel. It's set in Renaissance Florence, where Niccolo Machiavelli has been asked to solve the murder of a dead Medici. It has spoiled rich boys, prostitutes (male and female!), a mysterious woman, fights, murders, mystery, politics--pretty much everything you could desire. It's called "The Lion and the Fox," and my pen name is Sylvia Prince.
If you're interested, please check it out! I would really love to get more readers and reviews.
I'm growing older but not up. My metabolic rate is pleasantly stuck, let the winds of time blow over my head. I'd rather die while I'm living than live while I'm dead.
Thanks, guys! I actually started the book as a NaNoWriMo novel a looong time ago, but I picked it back up this summer to revise, expand, edit, and finally publish! I'm really proud of it.
And RamblingRose, thanks for buying it! It's definitely a fast read--my mom read it in a day.
You know what's funny? My mom read it and has been trying to post a review, but for some reason it's not working. She keeps calling me to read parts of her review but she can't get it to post online. But she loved it, take my word for it!
Update, since I'm sure you're all wondering: Amazon won't let my mom post a review, because they figured out she's my mom. Whomp WHOMP. Too bad, because she really loved the book! I'm hustling to try to get some bloggers to review it so that it doesn't look quite so bare.
