We finally gave formula today to K, since it was apparent that her body was not ready for it a week ago. The ER doc was the only one who gave us the good advice to keep her off it for at least two days.
Anyway, tonight she cannot seem to get comfortable and is crying here and there as if pains come in waves, I am guessing gas. Fucking soy formula. We also gave her some chicken and sweet potatoes tonight (she handled sweet potatoes just fine yesterday), but maybe that was too much with the soy.
I hate that she seems to be hurting. I hate that she does not seem to be 100% and seems to be plagued with digestive issues all the time.
Dairy and soy proteins are the one and the same for babies. I figured this out the hard way with DD. As soon as I cut out both dairy and soy, bazinga! Happy baby. I know K has the allergy/autoimmune dairy thing, is that right? Hope she feels better soon.
Poor baby. I've missed your other posts. Does she have allergies or just digestive issues?ETA: I posted too late. I hope you find something she can tolerate soon.

She has a form of Galactosemia which means she cannot have any form of animal milk at all for the first year. Around a year, she will go through a milk tolerance test to see where she stands.
I'm just wondering if she has some other allergies or issues that we have been overlooking.
I'm calling them in the morning. She has always had some issues with Soy, in terms of being fussy while on it, but it is glaringly obvious after she has not had any for a week and the night i suddenly introduce it to her again, she is extremely fussy. Every night this week, she has gone to bed like a champ, for the most part, with very little crying and if she did she just needed more food since she was only pedialyte and rice cereal as her solid.
