I can't believe it. It simultaneously seems like it's been such a long time and such a short time. How are the other new mamas doing? hungrycaterpillarBernadineElsa
We're at 4 1/2 months. DD's still not sleeping great, but other than that, she is amazing. She is just more and more fun every day. I love watching her discover things and figure things out. She's a very happy baby, and I feel very lucky.
My girl turns 6 months tomorrow and needs to SLOW THE F DOWN! She is already crawling, pulling up, and starting to cruise on furniture. I'm just like, this is great but why can't you be this advanced in sleeping? She still wakes up twice at night. She's my sweetheart though.
OMG. I adore her. Her pics that you post are my FAVORITE. spitforspat
Isabelle is 5months on the 14th. She is amazing, and the happiest baby I've ever met. But...she doesn't sleep. She doesn't sleep at school (maybe three 20 min naps all day), then she crashes from 6pm-midnight, and then the rest of the night is shit. She might be up 2-3 times between midnight and 6am. For 30min- hour each time. Last night she slept till midnight, then was up to eat till 1245, then was up at 2am to eat, then up at 4am crying and wanting a paci, then up at 545am to eat. And that was actually a GOOD night.
But literally, everything else is going well. I've added in a formula bottle when we need to, and she did great with it. Makes her gassy, but not hurting-gassy. Just smelly gassy. Which, whatever. That takes the pressure of me. I'm still nursing and pumping and its going well.

I wasn't mentioned, but I'm commenting anyways, lol.
We are at 4 months as of yesterday. I think we hit our 4 month wakeful early last week. He was sleeping great (down at 7pm, waking up at 1:30 and 4-5am) but now, it's all over the place. Waking up 3-4 times a night. Some nights goes back down easy, other nights, not so much.
We are working on breaking the swaddle. We've been legs out for a week now. Dh is going to Spain this week for a whole week, Wednesday to Wednesday. Once he's back, I think we'll start working on one arm out. Very slow process for us. I just want him to be un-swaddled and starting to self soothe so at 6 months we can start sleep training.
I have a 6 month old DS as of Oct 27th. He's a happy boy and does that thing we don't talk about here, which is amazing. I know we are very lucky in that regard. I can't imagine our little family without him. (heart)
ETA: DS is huge (18lbs and in 12 month clothes). He sits and drools a ton.... teeth are coming.
I agree spitforspat ; it feels like he's been a part of our family for a long time but a very short time as well.

All the babies are perfect!
S is doing well. He would like to crawl but cannot figure out how and for that, at least for the moment, I'm grateful. Life is pretty easy and calm and I'm happy to have an easy going baby. He has is fussy days and nights where he sleeps less but overall I feel that he is just a happy, normal, sweet little boy.
