I don't know how they pick who is at the tippy-top of the ballot, but in NY to see HRC in the top slot just gave me all the feels. I seem to remember Romney being there last time but I could be wrong (about who is at the top of the ballot).
I was planning to sleep in today so I could watch it all tonight. My h and I are both working at home today. I figured I'd go vote around 10:30. Polls opened at 6. Dumbass went at 6:10 to Vote, along with all the people who need to go early on their way to work, when he could have waited. He'll be waiting awhile AND woke me and all the dogs up. Grrrrrrrrrrr. I'm trying not to be too mad when he gets home, he comes from an uber conservative, party-line following, republican background. After being with me this long, he's voted for Obama and will not vote for Trump. I can't be too mad that he wanted to get out to vote early for Hilary

It feels like Christmas morning! I voted weeks ago but I can't wait to watch the results roll in. I got to see Obama speak in NH yesterday., despite being sick and having almost no voice I screamed my head off.
I couldn't sleep. I had my first freak out. I was all "I'm in an echo chamber! What if Trump is actually winning!?!" I reread posts here to calm my nerves.
My family is eating breakfast and I just ran in, yelling, "I AM SO EXCITED TO VOTE TODAY!" I mimed pushing buttons and said, "I'M GONG TO VOTE LIKE THIS AND LIKE THIS! YEEAAHHH!"
They didn't even break in their conversation.
Finally, my husband looked at me and said, "it's paper ballots this year."
6:46 a.m. ET The first votes are in, and Donald Trump is off to a very early lead in the 2016 presidential election, winning over the voters of three tiny New Hampshire precincts by a 32-25 margin over Hillary Clinton.
Polls in the New Hampshire towns of Dixville, Hart’s Location and Millsfield opened just after midnight Tuesday and closed as soon as everyone had voted. Clinton won more votes in Dixville and Hart’s Location, but Trump was the overwhelming favorite in Millsfield, with a 16-4 edge.
Under New Hampshire state law, communities with fewer than 100 voters can get permission to open their polls at midnight and close them as soon as all registered voters have cast their ballots. -- Associated Press
I am off to body pump. I am going to pump some girl power iron.
Leo had a low grade fever last night so I think I might be staying home today. That is a good and bad thing. Good because I can obsess all day. Bad because I will be idly obsessing all day lol.
I'm in the same boat! My son has had cramps etc since yesterday and we were up twice with it overnight. Contemplating keeping him home even though I'm kinda giddy at the thought of being home all day myself.
Good morning! I'm a freakin ball of nerves this morning. DH asked if I wanted to stop for coffee on the way back from voting so of course I said yes. Coffee usually amps my anxiety up to 11, so strap in, folks.
