Husband and I are trying to stay calm but not doing a great job. I'm just glad the kids are asleep so I can put on a brave face tomorrow if necessary. I am so scared, I may just go to bed because I'm imploding.

I'm nervous too. And it isn't because the map is so red, it's that those red numbers are so freaking close. Like only .05-1%/1000-500,000 votes close. Really, America? REALLY??
I'm still holding out hope that the Dem numbers just aren't in yet. I think I need to turn off the tv, get a shower, pour a glass of wine and turn the tv back on in another hour.

I'm terrified. Meanwhile, my mom is cool as a cucumber and doesn't understand why I'm so scared. She's all "nothing's going to change! We still have the Supreme Court, police officers, you're not going to be in any danger!!!" MY HEAD IS GOING TO EXPLODE. and I can't articulate why I'm so scared to her.
He is winning where he was projected to win. There is nothing surprising about the results so far. As much as we would've like this to be a blow out, that was never going to happen. Not shocking that there are assholes who voted for him. How many of you all posted about your racist or sexist uncle posting about Trump on facebook? These every second results are playing in to the hysteria. But many of the large counties where votes are outstanding and she will get most of them are still pending. It is too early to call.
I'm also super drunk. I had, like three shots of tequila in about 45 minutes,, and now I'm work on hsots 4 and 5 in my next drink (mixed the second drink a little differently).
I had to send my 7 yo DD to bed. She was getting sad and I couldn't handle the endless questions.
Mom, why do they keep saying the educated women voters are voting for Clinton and the rural voters are voting for Trump. Are the rural voters not educated? Did they not go to school? Did they not learn what it means to be a good president?
But really, mama needs to get her drink on. Go to bed, my love. I can't take the anxiety.
