Mr. Trump, a homebody who often flew several hours late at night during the campaign so he could wake up in his own bed in Trump Tower, is talking with his advisers about how many nights a week he will spend in the White House.
WTF THIS MOTHERFUCKER RIGHT HERE AND HIS RANTING ABOUT HILLARY GOING HOME DURING THE CAMPAIGN.

A question he should have asked himself before he, ya know, decided to run.
The dude had no intention of actually being President. I'm sure he was just as shocked as everyone else. All he really wanted to do was bitch and moan about how it was rigged and launch Trump TV.
MAkes sense to me. He just wants to be a part-time president. How much are we, the taxpayers, going to have to pay for Trump Tower to be set up with the necessary security and other necessary presidential things? I am seeing red over this.

My favorite deadspin article is about how Trump is more miserable than we are about this.

Also this part stuck out to me.
"Returning home to Trump Tower from the White House may not be Mr. Trump’s only embrace of the familiar. His aides say he has also expressed interest in continuing to hold the large rallies that were a staple of his candidacy. He likes the instant gratification and adulation that the cheering crowds provide, and his aides are discussing how they might accommodate his demand."
Of course he does. It's clear that the he only wants to soak up the celebrity aspects of the job rather than exert power to change things for the better and the good of the people. It's all about ego with him. Who was that writer who said this whole thing was about making a certain group of people in Manhattan finally respect him? He makes me sick. I'm still partially in disbelief that we are stuck with him for four freaking years.

Jinx!
My question is: who does he expect to attend these rallies when his campaign supporters realize: they're not getting a wall, they're not getting a repeal of the ACA or NAFTA, they're not getting protectionist tariffs, they're not getting any decent manufacturing jobs back, and oh yeah, corporations and the wealthy are getting a tax cut and all they might get is the loss of their Medicare and SS if Paul Ryan gets his way.
That article is spot on and absolutely everything.
Dudes. I don't even have words. Pence looks like an eager puppy. Trump looks like I do after a bottle of vodka. "It seemed like a good idea until this shit comes home to roost."

And given that 99% of the stuff he will have to talk about will have zero to do with him he's going to hate it. He lives only to feed his own ego. And plus it's going to remind him of what he already knows which is that he's really not a legitimately smart person. Probably average at best. So a lot of this is not going to be easy to grasp which will be so boring for him.
