I bought my sister a travel edition scratch off map since she travels a lot. They scratch off where they have been. Don't know if you are looking for something like this or for things for them to take when traveling. I can find the link for you if you want.
Packing cubes Small toiletries bags are always great for organizing This Belkin charger is on my list (hotel rooms never have enough plugs) This mini clothing steamer since I hate ironing

Not the original poster, but I'd love a link to a travel scratch off map as it would be perfect for a friend of mine.

Just note if you are in the U.S. shipping is expensive as its from the UK. I figured the map itself was relatively cheap so I didn't mind. Amazon also has different variations of it too.
I got my boss a USB port thing when I picked her name in the office gift exchange. Our laptops never have enough USB ports and this split one port into 4 I think.
I also got here a nice travel blanket. One of those supper thin ones that can stuff into a bag easily.

We got a friend of ours a belt with a plastic buckle. He traveled quite frequently for work and this would save him the trouble of needing to remove it at security.
A small LED flashlight and a kit with eating utensils: fork, spoon, knife. I got a utensil kit from a camping supplies store a couple years ago. I have found that sometimes I need extra utensils as a I get food to go to eat in my hotel room in more remote areas of Alaska. Sometimes I neglect to grab a plastic fork or spoon on my way out.
"Why would you ruin perfectly good peanuts by adding candy corn? That's like saying hey, I have these awesome nachos, guess I better add some dryer lint." - Nonny
- RFID cover for passport - A really nice leather travel wallet (specifically for passport, hotel/airline cards, customs forms, etc.) - A luggage scale - Bright luggage tags - Packing cubes (love these so much, I got some too) - Various chargers - in bag organizers
If you have a Container Store in your area, they have tons of good travel accessories.
Pay attention to the amps of the charger. The larger the number of amps, the more extension of power you get. I think that my 21,000 amp kept me supplied with power from Seattle to South Africa. The USB connection in the plane was pretty useless.
A few years ago, I bought a couple of luggage tags from Dole pineapple plantation in Hawaii. On my black carry on, they were unique enough that I could see my bag in the 500 other black carry ons on the baggage carousel. So bright tags that really stand out
Something I want for my next trip is a multiple USB hub to plug into an outlet. I had one with 4 outlets I bought for South Africa test we used to charge 2 phones and 2 iPads. I wish I had one for the US too.
10' lightening charge cords. Most are 3', which aren't long enough if you want to use your device while charging.
I have a bright Vera Bradley make up bag that I shove all my cords, chargers and plugs in. I chose the most obnoxious color I could find to catch my eye so I don't leave it around. I also chose bright, obnoxious colors for covers on my iPad and Kindle for the same reason.

As an other option: I travel a lot, but not enough to ever pay for the lounge access. You could get two passes to the club lounge for $100.
Not saying the other things aren't great, but as someone who travels, I already have what I need (or a routine where I don't need it), where this isn't something I buy myself.
I got my BIL a Baubax jacket.. you can get it from a number of sites but here is the first one I found. It holds EVERYTHING while traveling even has an inflatable neck pillow for the plane etc. I got him the athletic looking jacket but loved the blazer too.

OMG - this is such an awesome idea! I might do this for my H for Christmas!SaveSave
Seconding the nice headphones, and I also want a pricey nice travel mug but don't want to splurge on myself. Is it a man or woman? Maybe a cutesy or nice luggage tag, etsy has some nice monogrammed leather ones or unique fabrics. They may be cliche but I love my blanket scarf for traveling because I bunch it up and sleep on it.

This thing is the best. H got it for me a couple of years ago and I use it all the time. It's the best for travel.
