I thought 1 cup of coffee was only about 60 mg and that 200 mg of caffiene is the maximum a Dr would recommend be consumed.
I may be completely wrong about that though so I don't know.
I too had to stop with caffiene because of my heart. I just stopped drinking or eating things with caffiene. Even some lotions have caffiene in it so I just don't buy them. I was super tired for about a month.
Now I drink mostly water. 1 cup of decaf tea a day and 1 cup of decaf coffee a day and I'm totally alert. I know that decaf tea and coffee have caffiene but only about 5 mg per serving. I also started a diet and workout regime too so that helps me stay awake and energetic.
