I am just starting with my fiestaware collection, so am still learning about all the pieces and sizes, etc. Last year I learned that my favorite Christmas pattern was discontinued, but of course I found out after the holidays. Anyway, I've found one place online I can order some of the pieces and I would like some advice as I'm unsure which pieces I should get. Basically there are a couple serving pieces I'll pick up, luncheon plates which I'll likely order 8 of and then small bowls and mugs (like the jumbo cup). I'm envisioning using them for breakfast and whatnot for Christmas and possibly who knows what else around the holidays. We do have a hot chocolate tradition in my family, but I'm wondering if some of the other mugs is plain colors would be better for that. Anyway, I'm trying to decide if I should order some small bowls and/or mugs, and if so, how many.
Anyone want to provide thoughts, advice, suggestions?
I have the Christmas Tree dishes. I then use my regular dishes that match, since I have red/green/teal. My mom bought me most of them. I love the Jumbo Mugs, so much that I bought them for our everyday they are great for lattes. I also have the Java mugs that I love. I also prefer the Gusto to the regular bowls. So much, that I bought four for our everyday dishes.

I also have the Christmas tree ones. We have a set of four:
Lunch plates Gusto bowls (so much better than the regular bowls, which are just not deep enough in my opinion) Jumbo cups (I grab this to use for soup or cereal all the time)
I have a few of the Winterberry and I love that pattern. I've given the pitcher and wine glasses as Christmas gifts a few times. I like having serving pieces, the pitcher. I have a huge collection of crystal, inherited from my grandmother and mother (same pattern) that includes plates, salad plates, etc so I use them with my Winterberry.
I have 17 of the four place settings. Two serving platters, a vintage disk pitcher, soup bowls, gusto bowls. 8 of the striped goblets, and 4 each of the tumbles and larger sized glases.
I'm trying to stop because my cupboards are jam packed.
