What where you guys loving this past month?

Ran through most of my HG skin care this month but I had backups from my birthday for most of it. The Revlon mascara is the only fail, it's horrible. I liked the CG Superstay mascara though. I used it more of a lash primer and layer another mascara on top. 

Favorites: I am really loving both the TF CB and Bons Bons palettes. They're pretty much all I've been using for eyeshadow lately. I also really like the Hourglass Luminous Light AL powder and the NARS Sephora Rouge blush.

• Alpha Hydrox 14% AHA swipes-will not repurchase
• Duel-ended Tarte LCL primer and mascara- repurchased full size tubes of each
• Benton snail bee high content essence- trying something else for now
• Escada Born in Paradise perfume (tiny size)- will not repurchase
• Dr. Brandt microdermabrasion scrub- may repurchase in future
• Belif moisture bomb- will not repurchase
• ELF undereye setting powder- may repurchase

• Becca Backlight Primer- LOVING this. Makes my skin look so glowy and perfect
• Velour lash applicator- In my quest to get better at applying falsies, I bought this and am so glad that I did. It makes it so easy to apply strip lashes
• fluffy larger IT Cosmetics shadow brush- Makes it so easy to sweep powder over my lids after priming.

I've decided that Benefit's roller lash is my absolute Ride or Die mascara. LOVE. I knew I liked it, but I tried what I thought was my other favorite and it doesn't even come close. Roller Lash is where it's at. For daytime anyway.

My faves - I'm still obsessed with Ulta's mineral blush in Tiger Lilly. I've probably used it 20 days this past month.

No makeup empties. I hit pan on my WnW RYC, but that's it.
Used up a Biore Watery Essencces sunscreen, already have two backups.
Used up a great number of assorted AB foils - nothing to write home about yet.

Empties
- Bite agave lip mask, replacement already purchased.
- Deluxe sample of Herbivore moonfruit sleep mask. I didn't like this. It smells weird.
- Alterna Caviar Hair Mask - won't repurchase. It's a decent deep conditioner, but not worth the money
- I have been making an effort to use my foils, and I loved the Egg Mellow body butter and the B&B Full Potential Shampoo and Conditioner.

Favorites:

I was pretty lazy with makeup this month. The election sucked the life out of me. But when I did put it on, I used three of the colors from the Bite holiday set (nori, honeycomb, and pepper) pretty much exclusively. Love them so much.

I also adore my new Belif overnight brightening mask. So good.

Estee Lauder Double Wear Light foundation. It's a staple for me.
Almost through a container of Bye Bye Pores powder. Not sure if I want to replace it with loose or pressed.


Favorites: No real standouts. I've been trying to rotate through my palettes still. Lorac Unzipped is one that I bought years ago and never really touched, and I'm discovering how much I like it.

I got the Tarte maracuja oil in my Ipsy bag and I'm in love with it. It has really balanced my skin and made it look so much better.

I'm also loving Milani's Conceal and Perfect foundation. It is very full coverage, but doesn't feel heavy at all and blends beautifully.

Kevin Murphy Body Guard for blow drying my hair wavy (I have curly hair. It makes my hair smooth but still has body.)

ABH Modern Renaissance--my love for this palette is boundless

Benton Snail Bee High Content mask--super brightening and tightening

- L'Oreal False lash Wings Mascara - this may be a HG mascara for me. It's not waterproof and yet it's not leaving me raccoon eyed like most mascaras. And it helps with length which I need.
- NYX micro brow pencil in espresso - perfect colour for me
- Charlotte Tillbury Matt Revolution lipstick in Red Carpet Red - such a gorgeous colour!

I'm really happy with where my skin care routine has settled. I haven't found a daily toner and daytime serum I'm happy with but my skin is looking good so not too upset about it.

Last month I replaced Fresh soy face wash and exfoliator and KS Exfolikate.

I'll use up the KS goat milk moisturizer but I don't love it so I may try SR tidal instead.

Favourites: ABH Modern Renaissance: it's the only palette I bought to my trip to South Africa and Dubai and OMG, the combination of looks I can come up with were endless. Got lots of compliments too.

Too Faced Hangover RX: I don't even use moisturizer anymore, just this and a serum. It's my favourite face primer right now.

And yes, the NARS Sephora Rouge blush is beautiful.

Oh, I picked up a gift set of the Origins Go GinZing and used them during my travel and I loved every single product. The lotion mist is perfect to spray on during long-haul flights. I'm planning on getting another set for future travels

Dry breakout prone skin

Morning:
-wash with soy face wash
-twice a week use soy exfoliator
-KS goat milk moisturizer

Evening:
-first cleanse with josie Maran argan cleansing oil
-second cleanse with soy face wash
-every other night use DDS extra strength daily peel
-SR Luna
-ROC extra strength eye cream

Sunday nights:
- Exfolikate after second cleanse
-ceramic slip + good genes after Exfolikate
-skip Luna
-KS goat milk cleanser

Benton Fermentation Essence - liked it but I decided to try Cosrx Galactomytes Essence.
Clean it Zero - love this! But I have a bottle of The Face Shop rice water bright that I bought back when I first got into AB that I didn't use much because I didn't like the drippiness (?) of it. So I've been using that up, it's ok but when I run out will probably go back to Clean It Zero.

notasafeplace, I've found it awkward to use the clean it zero. I'm either dripping all over the floor or little balm chunks fly off my face as I massage it in. How are you using it?
