So I am laid up in the hospital for another 1.5 weeks before I get induced. I was thinking of getting a tablet to stream shows and that I can use it when nursing after the baby gets here.
Any suggestions? Ipad? Ipad mini? Kindle Fire? Samsung tab? how many GB do I need?
If you're incredibly bored right now, though, can you add the Netflix app to your phone and watch some shows that way?
Luckily I am working from the hospital during the day. Just need it more at nights bc the TV channels are terrible here.
I can send my DH to the store today to get one. Just wasn't sure whether to get Ipad or the mini.
Got it. We only have a full size so I have nothing to compare it too. I don't think you can go wrong with either though. We got the smallest one (16? 32?). Since we just use it for ds1 to watch you tube and for browse the Internet on, we didn't need it to have a ton of storage. All our pics and videos on our phones.

I have an iPad for myself (work bought it for me) and 15 iPad mini's in my classroom that I use with the kids often. If you were planning on having a pre-schooler use it I would say go for the mini. But since it's just you, definitely go with the regular size iPad.
I have both an iPad and iPad mini. The mini is great for travel but I find it a bit small. Make sure you get enough memory if your child is eventually going to use it.
