In November, there was a fire outside of town on one of the windiest days, causing people to be evacuated and it was a big confusing mess for everyone. Good thing they had that learning experience, since yesterday while the winds were gusting to 60 mph, a downed power line caused a fire that was 4 times the size of the one in November and they had to evacuate a couple towns and parts of my city. The wind has died down, but is supposed to pick back up this morning. The smoke was so thick that when I went to leave work yesterday, you could only see 2 street lights in front of you. Hopefully they will be able to get it under control, but it's still a state of emergency.
