He complains that no one is talking about the China hacks into OPM and says that the fact no one is is proof that this is a witch hunt. OMFG.
First of all, that was talked about A LOT. It got a lot of press, and Congress had hearings. It's not like people shrugged their shoulders and moved on. But it was months ago, and it has been kind of exhausted. And now we have this NEW threat, which is completely different in kind -- hacking for the purpose of meddling in our elections and politics.
Also, you know what? A large part of the reason it is getting so much attention is because he keeps denying it and trying to sow doubt. If he was like, "Oh yes, Russia did this hacking, and if it was to try to manipulate the election that is horrible, and while I don't necessarily think it made any difference everyone agrees that it is not a good thing to have foreign powers messing in our politics, let's figure out how to try to respond to that on a bipartisan basis to maintain U.S. electoral integrity" -- it wouldn't be getting the column inches it is. The only reason it is getting all this press and stuff is because Trump keeps insisting it didn't happen, and the media and the IC is doing its job trying to get the facts out to the American public not only about this particular threat (which I think is very important) but also now because Trump is bashing their credibility and they are trying to make clear that they are credible...which is important for the next time they need to blow the whistle on something.
His whining and sense of persecution is rage-inducing. As does the constant claim that he won "so big" and beat the HRC "very badly." You won by essentially 100K votes out of over 120 million. That is neither big nor badly.
