Did anyone else watch this? What a beautiful weird show! So do you think it was real? Was it all made up? Was homer a real person? Was HAP? What was the counselor doing in the house? Did he plant those books?
I believe her. I think the FBI therapist planted the books. I mean, what business did he have being in their house in the middle of the night? The books in the box were just too convenient. It seemed staged.

But why? Was he in on the experiments? Does the FBI sponsor HAPs plan? I heard a theory that Rachel was actually an FBI agent , I guess the wall at the FBI office said Rachel in braille. And we never see her die. But it seems like a lot to go through to be a plant, plus she was helping them out with the gas and all that.
karinothing - That's interesting about Rachel. That would also make sense since she was the only one to not receive a movement. But yeah, I have no explanation for the therapist. I thought he was a pretty cool guy but at the end I started to question that.

And from Amazon, technically she wasn't supposed to use the internet? And would her parents buy her the books that contribute to her delusions?

PLUS I mean how well does she read. She used the voice software to type the stuff in the computer. She went blind when she only spoke Russian. Chances are she can't read right?
A theory I heard, and that I think I believe, is that the FBI is sponsoring Hap's research and Rachel is there as FBI agent and to be the control for the study. I think the FBI have some nefarious reason for doing this and that's why the counselor planted the books in Prairie's room, to discredit her.
My question is why did HAP have tomatoes in his home if he's highly allergic? She said he did the online orders for groceries so why would he order them?

It was in the stock. Maybe he forgot to check?
Yeah, I thought it was a vegetable stock that had tomatoes in it, not a can of tomatoes

I thought the final scene when they completed all of the movements was just beautiful and powerful. It wasn't even about trying to stop the shooter (which I think a lot of people didn't get), but them coming together and believing. I really enjoyed this show. Brit Marling is very talented - I highly recommend her movie Another Earth for those who haven't seen it. She has an unusual creative mind.
