Do you always put on a robe when you leave the bathroom? or go naked rather than wear a towel for warmth? Are you short?
I'm looking to new towels and I was surprised how many brands only carried bath towels and no bath sheets. If I'm in a regular towel, it barely covers my ass. I must move very carefully if I don't want to flash the kids.
(yes, there are plenty of others that sell bath sheets, but why wouldn't they be a standard offering for all?)
I'm growing older but not up. My metabolic rate is pleasantly stuck, let the winds of time blow over my head. I'd rather die while I'm living than live while I'm dead.
A bath sheet is just a bigger towel. It's about 35 inches wide instead of 28 or so. I dry off in the bathroom, but dress in my bedroom, directly from my drawers and closet.
Ok I'm glad I'm not the only one who has never heard of a bath sheet!
That's because not enough companies sell them :-)
You may have never heard of them, but I promise you want one.
Lol.
I just use my towel to dry off in the bathroom. I never wrap it around me. If I'm cold I put on a robe, if not, naked. I walk around naked or fully clothed, there doesn't seem to be an in between, ha.
I don't really have this problem, given that I am 5' tall. Bath sheets are unwieldy and huge. Plus, you can't wrap your hair in them really. Regardless, our bathroom is attached to the bedroom. I usually wrap my hair up after drying off and go into the bedroom naked. I'm not concerned about anyone seeing me naked.
I used to use bath sheets, but the towel rack setup in our house can barely fit two of the hotel collection towels from Costco (not sure of the exact brand), and our master bath isn't setup in a way that made changing the towel rack feasible, so we switched. It's not really a big deal though, the ones from Costco are pretty long even if they aren't that wide, so they do a good job of drying, and I just get dressed in my bedroom. And I use an Aquis microfiber towel for my hair (I have several, including a pink one designated for travel).
I do have bath sheets for our guests though, and those hang on hangers in the guestroom closet because our guest bath doesn't have a towel rack at all.

This. I don't have kids so there is no need to worry about being covered up in my house.
Either is fine. I dry off and get dressed, so bath towels are fine in my current situation. When I was a teenager at home or in a situation without a suite, I would dry off and wear a robe.
I don't wear towels/bath sheets because I could never perfect the tuck that makes them stay on. Mine stay on for about ten seconds before dropping, ha.
I wear a robe right after drying off (and use a"Turbie Twist for my hair) so that's not an issue. Plus, I can wash more towels together rather than just a few bath sheets.
We have bath sheets as my H prefers them, but I only use them for drying off. I wear a robe if I go from bathroom to bedroom (but most of the time I bring my clothing into the bathroom).
We have a mix of both. I prefer bath sheets, H doesn't care. But I prefer them because the bigger surface area makes me feel like it takes less time to fully dry myself after the shower, not because I use them to keep myself covered in the walk from bath to bedroom.
Regardless of which I use, the towel stays in the bathroom when I go to my bedroom to get dressed. I have small microfiber hair towels, and I either wear a robe or walk down the hall naked.

I don't own a bathrobe. I walk around wrapped in a towel. Usually it's just the 10 feet from bathroom to bedroom door, but I occasionally detour to the kitchen. At 5'4" a regular towel covers me. At least enough that CPS has never been brought in.
I use towels. I dry off in the bathroom and then throw on lounge clothes. I still have to do make up, dry hair, etc. so I don't get dressed-dressed until I'm ready to leave the house.
Regardless, I only live with DH so I don't really care about covering up when I'm walking around anyway.
