Fiestaware people... how do you feel about the new color?

Daffodil. I like it better than the last few drag colors they're had.

It's fine, but there is enough yellow already. There was vintage yellow, pale yellow, marigold, sunflower and now daffodil. They need to do something in a pink or purple shade. They just keep repeating colors they've already done.

I was really hoping for orchid. They've said that those lighter purples and pinks are tough, though.

I LOVE the new floral decals. I don't usually go for their decals (with the exception of the Christmas tree on ivory) but this one I love. I think I'm going to get them for Easter plates.

I can't find them anywhere but the Fiestaware FB group, but there's an odd kidney shaped dish that I don't love. Looks like a bedpan.

I really want new fiestaware dishes. We have the set his mom gave him so he's emotionally attached. But they are that ugly salmon color that has aged into the color of my hand. I hate them.

I have sunflower too, but this one is deeper and brighter.

I like it because it's yellow and I love yellow, but I don't love it. It's just not the shade of yellow I'm most drawn to.

But I am sad that I missed the pale yellow in the past.

Can I ask a stupid question about Fiestaware? I just started collecting (my grandma picks up pieces at Goodwill for pennies) and some of my plates have grey scratches from utensils. Is there any way of cleaning them?

That's the exact color I bought at the dollar store 3 years ago. Cool. That set of plates and bowls are now the new "it" color!

I like it. I have non-fiesta white plates and fiesta mugs in shades of blues and greens. i think I'll buy two daffodil for some nice contrast.
