Well I am officially more pissed than last week... his EPA contracts freezing directly affects my project and the clean-up of a site, so I'm hoping he's uncomfortable in his new position b/c he's screwing with real peoples' job security and it's not just BIGLY words anymore.
He's not going to quit. He's a desperately vindictive man so when poked he will hit back. The key is to prepare for that, document it, and hit back harder. Make him escalate quickly since he's going to do it anyways. At some point he will fuck up to a point he can't be rescued.
In other words, we need to create the bottom for him.

In other news, water is wet
This is so predictable. We *knew* he wouldn't be able to take the criticism. He is WAY too thin skinned to be president. Everyone knows it's one of the hardest, most stressful jobs on the planet. Why he even wanted to do it in the first place is beyond me.
For all the talk of how smart he is and how he's surrounding himself with smart people.... well, I'm waiting for evidence of that. Going in with both guns blazing and creating the shitstorm that they are ALL a part of, how ANYONE thought it would be any different.... no words.
This is the first time he's ever been criticized in his life. He cannot buy himself 100% fealty and he has no idea how to handle it. This is his glaring weakness (well, at least in this current chess match).
His people have done their jobs in attacking the media and facts themselves. Mockery is the weapon of choice. Laugh at him, laugh at them, laugh at their tactics.

DH and I were just talking that tiny hands must have been so pissed of by the march that he vowed to piss us off right back. I agree the things he did are still all in paper. He can fuck up so much we'll have the CIA and the military on our side. If the GOP can remain spineless we can have a revolution!
The insane thing is that if he had sat tight for a week or so, not doing much of consequence, he probably would have a higher favorable rating and fewer people super pissed. He doesn't even play his own game well.
The sad (!) thing is, this is his game. I'm sure in his personal internal reality he's doing everything right, but he's the only one (aside from his delusional cult followers) who thinks he's "winning" said game.

ANDPLUS how many Americans couldn't enjoy THEIR homes this weekend because P-OTUS is threatening to break up their families through aggressive deportation actions or remove healthcare and other protections? I keep coming back to him saying this shit out loud and ... boohoo, booboo.

He didn't. He really didn't. He just wanted to win.
And he thought after he won people would just be like "Welp, he's our Prez now, so I guess we'll just have to love him" and he's getting a really big wake up call.
Which is 10x worse for narcissists than for normal people.
His mornings, he said, are spent as they were in Trump Tower. He rises before 6 a.m., watches television tuned to a cable channel first in the residence, and later in a small dining room in the West Wing, and looks through the morning newspapers: The New York Times, The New York Post and now The Washington Post.
But his meetings now begin at 9 a.m., earlier than they used to, which significantly curtails his television time. Still, Mr. Trump, who does not read books, is able to end his evenings with plenty of television.
Many presidents have complained of being cooped up inside the White House — George W. Bush in particular said he missed the outdoors — but Mr. Trump can go for days without breathing in fresh outside air.

I need a Biden meme that just says "victory."
Maybe with like a checklist of all the meme shit he did to make Cheeto Fart's first few days hell- tvs set in Russian, fish in the vents, legos on the floor, bill for 5 tons of ice cream, angry kitties in his bed.

the media has gone all in against him lately, I can't count the number of headlines in teh last few days that somehow framed trump as liar/lies/lying. We're going to have a telenovela for the next 4 years as everybody is oging to go nuts.
The best weapon against a malignant narcissist is to refuse to enter their alternate reality. He is desperate to bring the narrative back under his control. It's not going to happen.

I think he genuinely finds it difficult to comprehend that people respect people, not just their status. And now he's got all these shiny new things by being president and people still don't like him.
