I know there are civil service protections for now) but even so I think anyone who signs their name to this is very brave. This administration does not handle being questioned or criticized well.

This doesn't 100% belong here, but the president of my alma mater put out a statement yesterday that the school admin would protect its students and not disclose their immigration status or countries of origin to anyone who came asking for it.

Academia is in the fight.

Especially when you consider the rule that was re-instated with the 115th Congress saying feds could have their pay reduced to $1 on a case-by-case basis.
