Kansas' 3rd Congressional district is the closest to me. It's actually where I grew up. From what I've seen locally since the election, they have a pretty good chance of swinging it. People are starting to REALLY hate Kevin Yoder and the hatred of Brownback and Kansas R's has been growing for years. My brother ran Paul Davis' campaign against Brownback in 2014 and it was a TOUGH district. Tons of R's who hate hate hate Brownback but just couldn't bring themselves to vote for a D candidate. It was a really tough loss, and actually the loss that caused him to stop working in politics. In that district during the governor campaign it was pretty much a fore-shadowing of the 2016 presidential election at work. He warned me in October of this year (when it seemed like such a sure thing that H would win easily) of his experience in Kansas' 3rd District. To look at the parallels now it's almost uncanny.
I'm in RI (I'm in a blue bubble), and a D-controlled New Hampshire district was the first to come up, because the rep won by only 4.4% in the last election. Central New York is the closest actual swing district to me.
Another thing to consider, people like Tom Price being appointed for cabinet positions and such are leaving seats that will be filled through special elections. Do what you can to help those running for special elections now and then concentrate effort on 2018 after that.
I'm in one and we are definitely focusing on this already. I thought we had a pretty good dem candidate last year and he is planning to run again in 2018.
Nearest is in AK, but I'm working on swinging a local rep who went from D to R after 20 years and also the rep from Spokane who is not well-liked out there.

Is it NY -22? That's the one I got too, but I'm in Western NY. This district is a few hours from me but I signed up
Didn't we have a post about how this may be a phishing scheme for alt-right groups? Has that been cleared up?
More than cleared up. The original piece about this came from Daily Kos. They have updated their original article to reflect that there is now transparency as to who is behind Swing Left. And let's be serious, Daily Kos has posted actual fake news before. They're a blog; not a news outlet. They don't even divulge the identities of some of their writers. I find them to be highly suspect.
Related: those of you in NoVa and (edit: Central) Maryland have your closest swing district set to Virginia 10. Barbara Comstock scheduled two town halls this weekend and then no-showed and her constituents are PISSED.

I live adjacent to the Georgia 6th district, and I have been hearing about this guy: electjon.com/

Yes! He was endorsed by John Lewis. He's raised a tremendous amount of money, and already one potential challenger dropped out and endorsed him. This district went from +22 Romney to +1 Trump. We can do this.

I've actually been considering figuring out what it would take to run in 2020 if Jason Lewis wins re-election in 2018.
I live in the 2nd district too and I've already been emailing and calling Lewis. I wonder who will run against him in 2018. I will do whatever I can to support that candidate.

Are you getting through? I can't.
On the phone no but I sent an email and got a response. The email I sent was about the immigration ban and he said he agrees with securing our borders but thinks it's unconstitutional to bar green card and visa holders from entering.

I had no idea your brother ran that campaign! I am still not over that loss.
