Yeah but it's Michigan and the house was built in the late 50s. I have a feeling it was a lot more valuable back then, relatively speaking. I don't think that 6 bedroom, 7 bathroom houses were all that common in the 1960s.

Mitt Romeney is not now and has never been upper middle class. BO probably was upper middle class before he became a super star senator/sold his books. But I think the pictures speak for themselves in terms of childhood. The guy in the million dollar house *totally* understands the needs of the working poor better than the guy who grew up in an apartment.
