Ok, so this has been bothering me for a while, but I definitely need to get it out there.
WHY is it that when companies are stringent in their password requirements (i.e. you need capitals, lower case, punctuation/symbols, numbers, 300 characters long, and possibly a blood sample), they A) never tell you this before your first failure at creating a password and B) never tell you what their requirements were when you have clearly forgotten your password. ARGH. Don't make me type all that crap and not explain what you want. And if I forget, remind me what you want and I'll probably remember what I used.
I totally agree! Especially to the part about reminding me what your guidelines are when I forget my password!
I also love how places like Papa John's have ridiculous requirements, but my bank just suggests using numbers, too! So, you can't order pizza for me, but you CAN empty my bank account!

This is why I let google chrome and my iphone save all the passwords. If either ever gets stolen I'm f'd, but I CANNOT remember the million different password requirements! I do have a google doc my DH and I share where I try to write them all down, but the combinations get hilarious. It's like numberWord!$, then the next is number!word$number
Yes! This drives me crazy! I even had some system, I think at work, that required those check questions and you had to select their questions. So I selected one and typed in the answer only to be told the answer was incorrect!?! Really? How do you know the name of my favorite childhood toy? Turns out it was "incorrect" because my answer was only 4 characters when the answers were required to be 5 characters, but of course nowhere was this stated. I was super annoyed and had to pick another stupid question.
::Enters password:: "Invalid" ::Enters other password:: "Invalid" ::Enters other other password:: "Invalid" ::Reset password:: ::Enters normal password:: "Password cannot be the same as previous password" ::throws things::
Does anyone have a password app that she would recommend? I know there are tons & have used one or two that didn't properly update with my iCloud between iPad & phone. SO I was hoping someone might have a recommendation; I'm even willing to pay up to $2.99, yo (My max for app purchases 😜)
I work in digital/web and this is terrible UX. Companies that do this always get a nastygram from me via LinkedIn. That way they can click back to my profile. (devil)
My pet peeve - whenever my children wake up they go downstairs and turn every.fucking.light in the house on. Despite NUMEROUS conversations about saving electricity and not doing that. I cannot wait until they grow a frontal lobe.
I cannot stand people that call drawers draws. I realize that a large percentage of you are no where near Boston and have no idea WTF I'm talking about, but it starts with dropping the R when it say it because of the accent and results in people thinking the word is actually draw. And you get Craigslist listings for a 3 draw dresser. Omg it makes me stabby.

That is a huge pet peeve for me too!!! I almost posted it yesterday, but thought you guys would think that I was nuts.lol
I have actually seen it on here a time or two over the years, and have definitely seen it on CL too many times. Chest of draws anyone?
AmyRI, I assumed this was dialect thing until I read someone's essay on the history of chests of drawers, and he wrote, "chester draws." This was in Indiana. After that point, I realized some people are just not very smart. There was an Indy craigslist post for a chest of draws last week or the week before as well.

I was in Kentucky visiting relatives/my cousin and a cousin from her other side of the family was hanging out with us. I think she and I were in high school and her other cousin was in college. Anyway somehow we got to talking about chests of drawers and he kept saying "Chester Drawers," and I couldn't stop laughing. It wasn't until then that he learned that is wasn't "Chester," though he did say that he'd always wondered who Chester was. This was more than 20 years ago and my mom and I still laugh about it.

Non H&G? I have so many. I want to be able to buy jeans that fit the same within a brand, and even more so in the same style. I'm tired of paying upwards of $50 for one bra to support these damn things. It irritates me that my iPhone battery is starting to discharge faster. There is a weird film on my windshield that is suspect is from the car wash, and I can't get it clean, I'm tired of a streaky windshield. I dislike statistics, and my teacher is nit picky but also careless in grading. Men irritate me.
I'm growing older but not up. My metabolic rate is pleasantly stuck, let the winds of time blow over my head. I'd rather die while I'm living than live while I'm dead.

I use oneSafe on my iphone - I can't remember if it was a paid app or not.
eta - it is a paid app $1.99 for the new version 4. I don't know how much version 3 (the one I have) is as it just says open.
