Clothes aren't my thing. There was a time when I cared a bit, but that is long gone. Motherhood, staying at home, and never losing the baby bump lump have killed my vanity and interest in clothes. (I was one of those "lucky" pregnant women who mostly carried the weight in her baby belly. Except not I'm not pregnant and still carry the weight in my former baby belly.)
What websites / blogs /etc would you recommend for someone who doesn't care, wants to keep it very simple and hates her body type?
(I don't need suggestions that only look great on petite, short women with tiny waists. I need things that look unembarrassing on tallish pear shaped women with long waists who look about 5 months pregnant all the time.)
I don't have a blog rec but just get a uniform (ex jeans, top, cardi, flats) and build that with neutral colors.
This is what I do. Right now, my uniform is skinny jeans or boyfriend jeans (rolled), button down shirt, chucks or flats, with basic gold jewelry (earrings, ring, bracelet/watch stack). I throw on a top or tee with a cardi (modcloth is my favorite, they are v-neck and 3/4 sleeve) if I need to look slightly nicer. Mod cloth tunic with skinny dark jeans and heels/wedges for girls night out/date night. Done.
Mine is pants and high as I can possibly get them to hold it all in, shirt/blouse, cardigan, flats. My work clothes are this, my fun clothes are this. My summer clothes are this, my winter clothes are this. If my cardigans start a union, I'm fucked.
Same. Well lately I've been wearing tunics and leggings but that's because I'm almost 30 weeks pregnant and 100% over jeans. Non-pregnant, I live in jeans/tops/flats/cardigans.
