My milk came in today despite taking sudafed and having no milk tea religiously. Ouch. Other than ice and Motrin can I do anything else to make them dry up faster?
Sudafed by day, benadryl by night. Hand pump a bit if it gets uncomfortable

Adding Benadryl to my list. I don't have a hand pump though:/
My best friend's mom just told me (via FB) that my journalism degree is insignificant because I "don't use it" and because of "fake news." Rage.
In good news though, my H has really been picking it up in the helping around the house gig AND D slept through the night last night. Light at the end of the tunnel!!!
DH disassembled the crib today and I'm having a really hard time with it. It's been a draining past week with losing my grandfather, traveling to the funeral and back, moving our furniture around before new stuff is delivered, and just general life crap. I am really ok with DS getting bigger, I just wish it was clear whether or not we should have a second child.
The tongue tie is no big deal. They scream for one second and then they are fine. Even my dramatic one made it through. Don't worry!
Thanks! He ended up getting his lip tie done too. He screamed so much, I felt awful. He's okay now though, snoozing away. Now I'm just nervous about having to do stretching exercises ever 4 hours for the next 3 weeks. Ack.
What? You have to do stretches? Mine was a clip and a drop of blood and nothing else. Sorry you have to do that. But its better to have it done now than at 21 like I did!
I'm (stupidly) stressing about college costs. $13k a year is what is costs now for room and board at a state school. What will it cost in 15 years? Shit, there's a state university in my town. He can take the bus. Boom. I just saved us $52k.

School is flipping delayed tomorrow, and set to start at the same exact time I have a doctors appointment to get my hearing aid. Of course it's too late to cancel. I'm also not sure if I really could because they ordered a device for me and it's sitting there, waiting. So now I have to drag DS with me, bribe him, and pray that he sits there SILENTLY with headphones and watches his iPad while they get me hooked up. What are the chances of that happening?
School gets out at 1pm. He won't get to school until 11:30am at the earliest. If at all. So now we're looking at almost 3 weeks without regular schools days. Tomorrow is a bust.

I freak out about college too. I just found out that our local private university (highly ranked school) has a new program with some of the surrounding school districts including ours.
If the kids join a college preparedness class in HS and graduate with a 3.2 or higher the school will give them automatic admission and $10K per year.
