Another crochet question

Ok, I'm in love with crochet. I cant believe in my whole 10+ years of knitting I never tried it!

So now I'm shopping for hooks. I spent the first 2-3 years of knitting working on charity shop aluminum needles until I discovered bamboo and loved them. So do I also want bamboo hooks? Should I invest in the knit picks set that you can connect cables to for Tunisian crochet? Which hooks do you like?

I love the tulip brand, I get them at my LYS. www.amazon.com/Tulip-Etimo-Crochet-Hook-Set/dp/B0045QHTU4 this is a set on amazon, but I buy them individually as I need them. I love that they're ergonomic to use, and they really are quite comfortable on use.

Armour aluminum hooks are my favorite. I didn't buy the set all at once, I picked them up with coupons as I needed a certain size. I have tried a dozen others and go back to these every time.

I use Susan Bates bamboo handled aluminum crochet hooks. They're pretty cheap at Joanns and I love them.

These are also my favorites, I did buy the whole set at once though (through amazon, $50 included the case).  I just bought their micro <2mm hook set too - not 100% sure what I'm going to do with all those teeny tiny hooks...

While I have used most of my hooks in the set at least once, I tend to stick with my 3.75 - 5mm hooks more than any other size.

Another Susan Bates fan here. The plain metal ones are great for me.
