Until he issues a blanket revocation of work permits and defers no more? Until he sends ICE to all those nicely compiled addresses to find the kids who match those handy biometric records?
(Is that what ICE is doing today? Will that be his revenge for uppity courts - a show of executive branch force?)

ETA-I clearly haven't had enough coffee today, some cities/states won't turn over non-DACA information for undocumented residents who have register for state programs.
I haven't looked up about other states, but I know some cities/states have a self-destruct option built into their DACA databases to attempt to prevent this exact use of the information.
The Mayor of New York already talked about employing the option back in November if needed to protect people.
Whatever he does will be dependent on how much resistance there is to the ICE roundups. He's stress-testing how much opposition there is to deporting undocumented immigrants. With the Muslim ban, they were characterized as potential terrorists, the undocumented will be characterized as criminals and welfare cheats. If there isn't much resistance, he'll probably go after DACA. I think he said something about there being an announcement in March.

What exactly would this accomplish? Doesn't USCIS have all of the information from the paperwork filled out in order to get or renew DACA in the first place?
ETA: The Feds have not only all the info on everyone approved under DACA but on everyone who applied and wasn't approved as well.

I'm not familiar with what info from these programs gets passed along to the Feds.
Here is the article I was referring to with regards specifically to NYC

What I don't understandvis why the Feds would need info from a state database. The state didn't process the application. The Feds did. And check out the info people had to give USCIS to have it approved--every address since 2007, school records, car registration, work history, etc. etc. If it has anything to do with your life in the Us you pretty much had to give it to the Feds to be approved. In order to renew you have to update all that information. The Feds want to find you they shouldn't need info from a state to do it.
ETA--I read the link. The only people that would protect are those who didn't apply for anything under DACA.

That does make sense, I wasn't sure about the details but it looks like it is for the city's undocumented residents program, not DACA.
My immigration team is freaked out about this. Well except the one who proudly voted for Trump whose face I have to resist punching every day. We have a large number Of foreign nationals in our company. We have about 150 DACA workers. Our government affairs liaison has a good relationship with John Cornyn's office so this will be interesting to see how he comes out on this issue. The entire Texas medical center is heavily populated with foreign nationals who are brilliant physicians, surgeons, faculty, scientists, nurses, and more. The ban first put everyone on high alert. Now DACA is a concern as is the temporary protected status of a huge population of our support staff from El Salvador & Honduras.
We have a Global division and at least half the staff are from the seven banned countries. We had to call our EAP folks in to come on campus after the EO. I expect they will be billing us a lot this year as we go through all the different categories of people Trump hates and wants to marginalize or deport in his effort to make America white again.
The only protection DACA kids have is the fact that their deportations may spark more outrage. I am terrified for them, and have been saying this since DACA was enacted in this way.
