:::raises hand::: I haven't liked this season very much so far. I loved last season. But it seems like they're kind of all over the place so far with this one.

Yes, I watched it. The second ep is pretty good. Hannah shows some self awareness with her self absorbedness. I love the interactions with Shosh and Ray.
I haven't watched the second episode yet but watched the opener. I think I'm just watching for Elijah now, he kills me. And Shosh, I hope there's more of her in the second episode.

I love this show. Of course they're insufferable but that's the beauty and charm. Marnie and Dez are my favorite couple to hate and I'm so glad they're hinting at Ray and Shosh getting back together. Hannah is awful but I love her as a modern day archetype of failed adulting.
Jessa is gross, eating yogurt naked on the couch. I hate how Lena Dunham writes gross things in just for the sake of being gross.
I keep trying to think of something to add to the conversation, but don't really have any. I'll watch bc Im bored, but I'm glad its the last season
Why is it gross to eat yogurt whilst naked on the couch?
I still like the show. I love Shosh and Rey's characters and I still find parts I LOL at.
I can't tell if you're kidding. Because it's a shared couch with a roommate and rubbing your bare vag all over it in front of said roommate is fucking foul?
I don't know why I'm still watching. That scene actually made me gag.

Lena Dunham is so dense. She consistently writes about her self-created bubble of white NYC that isn't real and, despite the criticism, she keeps on going. And she's gotten so much feedback about the lack of POC, and this season is laughable with her bizarre "incorporation" of them. If they're there, she's having sex with them or acting like she's never seen one before.
Her purposefully obtuse nature just isn't charming.
sproctopus agreed. That shit in the antique shop was especially cringe-worthy. It was like she had taken every criticism she'd ever gotten and pushed it into this over-eager, disingenuous monologue of, "NO. I LOVE POC. THEY'RE BEAUTIFUL. MODELS. OMG."
STOP. JUST STOP. People are not props or sex toys.
Right? She can't just enjoy her job of curating beautiful antiques?! Like, what in the world?

I can't watch that show. Lena Dunham is horrible.
And I remember when the show first began and people pointed out that there was NO POC, one of the staff writers tweeted some disgusting racist tweet. Of course that was not the only racist tweet from the staff writer, she had a history of racist tweets.
