I'm not around this board as much -posting or lurking- so I may have missed some exits or posts. I've been thinking of some people I haven't "seen" in awhile. I can't remember all the screen names but I hope these posters are well:
I'm trying to get the kids sorted out to go to the aquarium, but I will update a longer response tonight.
I've been mostly ok. I've been wildly stressed out since last summer and really struggle with being a mom sometimes. I think it's mostly that I walk this road kind of alone and that my life is so momcentric. I can't even remember if I ever posted about this, but my parents lost their home in the August flood with 5.5 feet of water in their home. They have been living in their driveway for over 6 months now and it weighs heavily on me, but hopefully they will be back in their home next month.
I do have lots of updates and maybe it would be cathartic for me to write it all down. I'll be back! ❤
I've also wondered about: cphillz (I think she switched to Sprinkles on here?), steelecity, smudgee, smellycat
Hey Smudgee here!
I dont tend to have much time these days to frequent here, but I am alive! Life has been interesting, to say the least. The boys are good. Cannot believe Wy is almost 5 and Russ is 1.5. DH was in a work place accident in September which is resulting in him having his eye removed at the end of March. He's had 6 surgeries, 4 or 5 procedures and nothing has worked. He has a lot of chronic pain which lands him in bed a lot because he cant handle it. So removing is the best option. Other than that... we are good! Overall, cant complain.

I'm friends with many of these ladies on FB and they all look like they are doing well!
I think about musiclover and the girl with two boys in Canada, their initials are X and A, I remember their names and her real name but I can't remember her screen name, I hope she is doing ok.

That's sandj82110 - she is temporarily in Arkansas I believe and still posts here

jg183 asked me to stop by. We're doing well. I have a few more weeks of maternity leave then am returning to work part time. 3 kids has been a pretty easy adjustment compared to 2 kids, though we've had someone in the family sick almost continuously since mid-December (colds, stomach viruses, bronchiolitis). DH has been really great. He started working out again in early November and it's been night and day from his previous low energy level/often lazy attitude to now. The timing couldn't have been better for him to step up.
G has been working hard at piano lessons, practicing for a concert in mid-April. She's now in morning preschool, home with me in the afternoons, though soon will be home with our nanny. She's nearly 9 months into the peanut patch trial with a set of food challenges coming up in May at Seattle Children's hospital.
X loves swimming and anything G does. He's moving up to the preschool class at daycare in April. He's really talkative but much harder to understand than G was as a toddler. He's super sweet and cuddly, though always testing limits and getting into things.
M is 3 months old, very smiley, and recently started giggling and grabbing/batting things. She's so far been easy going and adaptable, thank goodness. She spends more time than I'd like in her car seat bringing the big kids places, but doesn't seem to mind. G and X adore her, and G is a huge help this time. I'm fairly zen about the sleep deprivation this time around, though I hope to someday sleep again.
bearbear I'm so sorry about your H's eye, but it sounds like once its out, his life will improve dramatically.
shevacc So happy to read that things are going well with your H and with juggling 3 kids
lolaburns I'm so sorry to hear about your parents home and your stress level. Being a mom of young kids can be very lonely. You are not alone in that. Hugs to you.

Hey! Thanks for the tag! I'm doing pretty good
In my second semester in school to learn Icelandic and am loving it. It's a hard program, but has really helped so very much. Both kids are in preschool and both love it! Mel will start first grade at an international school here in 2018. Her and T are both amazing. They now officially weigh the same lol. T's third birthday is quickly approaching and I seriously need to get on making him a dinosaur cake. He no longer calls it a birthday, but "stegosaurus birthday."
We are visiting NY again in May for my step sister's wedding which should be.... interesting. Her whole family are Trump supporters (not sure about her though) and I haven't spoken to my dad in almost a year and I'm in the bridal party and mel is a flower girl. I'll be drinking heavily and ready to exit at any given moment.
That is the excitement! Oh, and over 20 inches of snow last night is pretty trippy! Lol
