Since I am AWing everywhere, I wanted to formally intro here. After 3 years, a loss at 8 wks and TFMR @ 18 weeks, we found out that I am pregnant today with identical twin girls after transferring 1 PGS embryo on Valentine's Day. While we are happy and totally fine with twins, we know there is a lot of risk that can come with this pregnancy. I think my RE was actually a little sad for us since she wanted us to have an easy pregnancy. I am hopeful that everything will work out, and also slightly terrified of the next 30 weeks.
I didn't know it was twins! Congratulations times 2!
You and me both!!! I think our RE was pretty shocked too (while it is only the second case she has seen in a year, the other was also a single transfer PGS embryo).
congrats again! Are you thinking to yourselves, holy crap good thing we didn't put back 2? lol. Really, I am very excited for you!!
Ha! We were never going to do two. Even knowing this was a possibility we are still shocked. The good news is that we only have one other possibly healthy embryo, so if we get a two for one deal we won't even worry if it is truly healthy (they were only 80% that chromosome 1 is normal).
