I watched some Mr. Ed this morning. Quality t.v.
I have no recollection of how long tests from undergrad were. Does anyone remember? I am again fantasizing about returning to college but now that I'm nearing HRH Queen Dick I, Orphan age I do not know if I possess the patience.
Last night I went out with a guy who possessed 2 bachelors, 2 masters, and 2 doctorates and is a navel officer. While I liked that he had much brains, He made some comments about fat people that I totally disagreed with and flat out told him. (Im a bigger woman) he texted me later and said he enjoyed sparring with me. While I was flattered I'm saying NEXT!
We're on a two-hour delay this morning due to icy roads, but H had to go in to work on time. He usually takes the boys to before care, which means that in spite of the delay I very well may get to work late if there's even a little bit of bad traffic between the YMCA and my school.

DS decided to screech and jump on me at 4 am and stay up until 6. So it's not quite 7 here, he's sleeping like an angel, and I'm almost out of coffee. Babies are assholes.
I am definitely going to have to job hunt while I'm on maternity leave and I am not happy about it. This schedule is killing me. I felt like I might crash my car this morning because I'm so tired and it took me 90 minutes to get home yesterday.
On a more positive note, my mom took this picture of DS yesterday and it's killing me.

We have a 2-hour delay as well, and I was up early to try to get some work done before the girls woke up. I have a derm appointment at 10:30 to finally start treatment for my psoriasis. Good thing, because it's been pretty painful the past week
I'm really stressed though because it looks like all or most of my treatment options either aren't compatible with nursing, or there isn't enough data to confirm. My H told me it might not be a bad idea to consider weaning her since my health is important...but I'm not sure I am emotionally ready to do that yet.
Philly is still a mess. I think we might have 40% attendance in school right now.
I went to work yesterday and someone took my mostly dug out spot when I got home So this morning my car was stuck and it's a sheet of ice. I tried digging it out but no such luck. Was going to take lyft but it's surging so much it's $113! Insanity. So I'm on public transport instead. Luckily I'm on OB this month and none of my patients are in labor or I most certainly would've missed the birth lol.

We left the house for daycare and before-care drop off ten minutes late thanks to lost gloves and inappropriate shoes (for real, DD, it's 20*!), and I was still into work 15 minutes earlier than usual. Hope your commute was the same!
DH comes home Friday afternoon, and OMG, I might not make it. It seems dumb to have gotten though the first seven days just fine, but after a weekend and a snow day in there, I don't have much left for the last two.

This waking up in the dark sucks.
This was a first date? He has none of those degrees.
I went to the dr yesterday because after 10 days, I was still having fevers, and my sinus pain had gotten unreal, and untouchable by even 12h meth sudafed. They are going with sinus infection, so I have an antibiotic and instructions to use a neti pot and flonase for a week on top of the sudafed. I started last night and don't feel any different... hoping day 2 gets things on the right track.
I'm in bed and trying to talk myself into getting in the shower. I should wash my hair, too, buuut that may not happen.

I am on week two of a month of overtime and I am over it. My house is a mess and I am too tired to care. Plus I am training a new manager today which is fine, but it's just more stuff to do. I am worn out! Sunday (my only day I get off) can't come fast enough.
My brother's girlfriend has helped me realize that my mother is Emily Gilmore. And now she texts me all the time about her Emily stories and it's hilarious. It gives me an excuse to use Gilmore Girls gifs which is just really excellent.

I adopted a new kitty on Friday. He's in seclusion as I introduce him to the two other kitties, who are less than impressed. And yesterday, the vet called and extended his quarantine due to worms. (insert "ick!" here).
And because I have to share his sweet little face, let me introduce you to Mulligan, 10 months old, sweet but mildly wormy.

We're still waiting for before care to open. 😟
Oh, that blows. Ours opens at 7 even if there's a delay, which is one of my favorite things about it.

OMG isabel that picture is killing me. I can't wait for DS to be a little older and starting having a relationship with our beagle. Currently their relationship consists of the beagle licking spit up off the burp rag 15 times a day. I really hope they are BFF.
isabel, your son looks like a total boss. Love it. Sorry about the job stuff.
I'm going to Chicago this weekend (HAMILTON!!!!!!!!!) and I have no idea what to pack. Weather is supposed to be low 40s, so not terrible. But I'm not happy with the way I look right now or how my clothes are fitting. I looked online for something new and I don't even know what I'm looking for. First world problems, I know.

She honestly couldn't care less about him (aside from laying by the table waiting for him to drop food), but in the last couple of months, he is soooo into her. He wakes up in the morning, "Bay-ya!? Bay-ya!?" (Bella). She walks around the corner into his line of sight, "Bay-ya!" He constantly asks to go for walks so he can hold the leash. It's so flipping adorable.
So the pregnant co-worker I sit next to had a scan this morning and she's only 7 weeks. She has already been "not talking about it" for more than 2 weeks.
I don't mean to be a bitter bitch and I do wish her well, but I do want to tell her to shut the fuck up about it.
I was so excited about my gel manicure until I googled "are gel manicures bad for your nails?" and found out I am RUINING my nail beds and will DEFINITELY be getting finger cancer. So...fuck me.
BF is meeting a friend/coworker this evening to check out the neighborhood country club for a possible corporate membership. Tennis lessons here I come! Also it means I get to order takeout Chinese that BF doesn't like.

OMG! That is a nightmare. I'm sorry you're dealing with this. I know we're not supposed to save spots, but it just seems so mean to take it!!

I decided since I get motion sickness I need to find something to take when I'm fishing in Alaska. We aren't going to be in giant boats, just tiny 2 person ones. I don't want to commit the whole week. Dramamine puts me to sleep, though, so I don't know what else to take though. Any suggestions?
kicks you could try the Pittsburgh method of setting a chair in your spot?
Can antibiotics make you throw up? I know lower GI symptoms are common, but this is new. Wondering if I should ask them to call in something different... it was like 90min after I took it, which seems like a long time for nausea/vomiting to kick in.

Oh that's definitely a Philly method as well. Except we have zero chairs or furniture that are acceptable to sit outside. My SO would kill me if I put any furniture in the street lol.
