Clomid Update & Weekend Check In

Since you all were so supportive, just wanted to share that I took my first round of lowest dosage clomid this month and tracked and my day 21 lab came back with a high progesterone reading so my Ob emailed and said that was an excellent response. Now just have to wait and see if we got lucky but I feel encouraged that my usually uncooperative body cooperated

As for this weekend, h works both days so ds and I have martial arts this morning followed by preschool open house which I invited my in laws to. My bf and her dude are coming over to grill later. Tomorrow is swim and then we chill

DH is working on my car to cut down the cost of some expensive repairs (we are really trying over here!) so the kids and I are on our own. I think we will try to get out to the gym and the grocery shopping. Tomorrow we have a family member's first communion and party. Then I need to finish grades. A productive but not very fun weekend around here!

We're about to have lunch, then we're heading to Costco. Not much else planned for this weekend, it's cold and dreary out today, so it'll probably be an inside day.

I am doing a few things around the house this morning/afternoon and then meeting some girlfriends for happy hour downtown.

Tomorrow I have a belated birthday lunch with my dad and just running errands. This past week was really busy, so I am looking forward to not doing a whole lot.

Hope you get good news! My fingers are crossed. DH and I are so flip flopping about trying for a third. I've decided to wait till the end of the year and then make a decision.

DH and I took the kids out for waffles this morning, a long hike, and checked out a new gym we are thinking of joining and then we looked at each other and said WTF it's only 10am. DS1 is at a friend's birthday party now and DS2 is napping...the house is blissfully quiet right now!

It dropped twenty degrees since the other day here so we had planned to go to the beach this afternoon but we might just take the kids to the aquarium or kids museum instead. Making chicken tortilla soup tonight so everyone is excited about that (secret tip: I use a few prepared tamales mashed up in the soup and everyone goes nuts for this soup).

Today we did random things that had to get done, a little part prep for Jack's family party tomorrow. (should have done more!)

Dh picked me up some hard sparkling water - yum!

V (age 5) had an awesome softball game today. So proud of her!!

This is the first weekend we had free in a few weeks. Yesterday was nice. Swim yesterday morning, then ended up having play dates for both of the two oldest kids. Watched the Derby. Pizza for dinner. Baths. We watched the 1999 "Annie" movie that DD1 is watching in music class and had popcorn. DD3 dancing was adorable. DD2 sobbed at the end of the movie, though, when they find out that Annie's parents died. Mostly they loved it.

It's noon already here. We haven't done anything yet except eat waffles. Debating between staying here, going for a walk, and getting stuff done, or driving with the kids 1.5 hours to visit DH on the farm today. Just not sure if I want to take all day to do the trip, plus it would be 1.5 hours each way...that's a long time. Starting to lean towards staying here but we'll see.
