My heart goes out to the loved ones of those who were killed.
I thought this part of the background was interesting:
This is the most serious terrorist violence in Tehran since the turbulent early years after the 1979 Islamic Revolution. It will come as a huge shock to ordinary Iranians, who have got used to living in a country which is generally far more stable and safe than most of its neighbours. Despite Iran's active involvement in fighting IS in both Iraq and Syria, the Sunni group has not so far carried out any attacks inside Iran, and appears to have little support in this predominantly Shia country. However, in recent months the group has stepped up its Farsi-language propaganda efforts - targeting Iran's restive Sunni minority, and the Iranian intelligence agencies claim to have foiled an number of IS-inspired plots.
Can someone explain this to me? Why would S.A. attack Iran? I obviously know nothing.
Do you know anything about the Sunni/Shia rift? A Shia government scared the FUCK out of the Saudis and I believe they are tried of waiting for Israel to " take care of Iran"

Ah, ok. That makes sense. I mean as much as it can make sense.

So ISIS claimed responsibility, are we saying that that isn't true? Or is Iran saying that? Or are they saying that the SAudi government is behind ISIS?

Bet College Republican advisor wrote it. (I can't remember his name and I don't care to look it up. The one who wrote editorials against diversity in HS.) (Yes, yes, not all College Republicans.)
