That is an great map but makes things look much more dire than reality. It might cover all walk in, planned parenthood style clinics, but there are plenty of places that provide abortions which are not on the map.
For example, I looked at SF and marin and only three places were listed. kaiser locations aren't listed nor are UCSF, SF General, st. Lukes, Marin General, Novato Community Hospital. All of which I know perform the procedure. I'd bet California Pacific and plenty of other places do, too.

If I needed a medical abortion, I'd have it at the same outpatient surgery center I can other minor surgery. Not on the map, and I don't think it's common knowledge that the facility does abortions. The site says they perform "gynecological procedures" or something. My doctor says he does abortions there. A friend had an abortion at the same large medical facility, but not at that outpatient center.
I would have had no idea of this as a college student. But the knowledge that I can go to a familiar facility with my regular doctor if I needed an abortion emphasizes my doctor's comment that "you aren't the one who is going to lose the ability to choose" meaning I'm an upper middle class woman in an area with options.
That last part is particularly crucial. Medi-Cal covers abortion and there are many, many places in the bay area which perform them.
