Town today. Going to go see them before they land. I'm missing the air show this weekend as we are going to VA to visit friends ans family. Trying to decide the best spot to go watch!

I really don't feel like being in Va for six days with not much to so. My H just said the ac in the upstairs no longer works and I need it super cool or I overheat. We talked about it and will go to the air show Saturday! $22.50 each, $20 parking in a lot to a shuttle... hope it will be worth it and not too hot.

My dad is obsessed with aviation and we grew up watching the Blue Angels...... This sounds so fun! He has a little Cessna Cardinal and goes to at least one air show every summer - he takes my girls now and I love it so much. ❤️

We were going to go to the show Saturday and leave to go South on Sunday. The whole thing is not worth it to me though. It is going to be about 90 out and very humid. I now get very sick if I am out in that weather. Parking in a lot to then take a shuttle is $20 and apparently only one sealed bottle of water is allowed per person? We would also have to carry our own chairs all day (nbd, just one more thing to make me more hot!)
Damn. Wish there was a better way to see it. VIP tix are $179 each. I don't have that since we will be away for a week

I am going to assume I know what air show you are talking about, as it's local to us (we're just across the river). Last year, we just happened to be meeting my parents at Adams to pick up my DD, and we were able to see a lot from there. Maybe you could find a park to hang out in for a little while and see some of it? That way, if the weather is terrible you could always head home without being out any money?
