I weigh in this afternoon and I am DREADING it. The last few weeks have been shit. I have been hovering about 2 lbs away from goal for like 2 months and working not to get discouraged. There a cookout or party every damn weekend and I really need to work on my self control. Grumble grumble. I hope everyone else is doing better than me. I keep jumping on Connect for some inspiration.
Havent weighed myself yet but I can definitely feel that my snug pants are not so snug anymore. This weekend is going to be terrible with the long weekend and mine and H's birthday but whatever. I have been making an effort to go to barre 3-4 times a week and biking/walking everywhere instead of driving or taking transit.
I'm still managing on keeping the 5 lbs. from March off. I went up 1.5 lbs. last week, and finally this morning it was back down again.
Other than that, the scale hasn't budged. I KNOW if I push, I can go from a 5 lb. loss to a 6 lb. loss--I think being stuck at it is pure psychological. My subconscious is saying "hey...relax, flex. you've done good!" ::sigh::

I need to stick with the "only weigh yourself once a week" advice. I weighed myself this morning. I have done great this week but the scale showed a gain (2 days before weigh-in). Ugh.
I gained a pound. Idk what is going on. I am trying to tweak my diet more and taking more walks and going to Zumba class. I feel so defeated. I am sticking with it, but I am concerned. I see my doctor next month so I will see if there's anything wrong with my blood work. I have a family history of thyroid issues.
Still stable, still happy with that. But my appetite has just cranked up a lot: I was starved at 11 and though I had lunch at 1 and some fruit at 3.30, I am starving again (it's 5). I actually asked H to bring me some cheese and crackers to munch on when he picks me up in an hour as we won't get dinner on until 8.
I haven't checked in for a few weeks because it's been a very busy month full of a lot of exciting events. I graduated, got married, went on vacation, and accepted my first job in my new field! With all that said, I haven't tracked anything either. But I weighed myself yesterday and only gained 2.8 since the beginning of the month. I am excited to get back on track with eating and starting a regular exercise routine. I am sitting at about an 18 pound loss and would like to get close to 30 by the beginning of September.
I am down .2 from my low, but had gained a couple pounds. The big deal is that I am down 40 POUNDS since January. I hit 40 pounds even this morning and put on pants a size smaller.

I am weighing in for my Diet Bet on Saturday and I am nervous. After multiple weigh ins in the morning, the scale finally settled at 157.8 in undies and bra. I need it at 157.2 with "airport security appropriate attire" by Saturday. I am a little anxious. My attempt at going to the gym today failed when my 16-month old wouldn't stop crying in the daycare center. At least she's cute when she's sad.
4 lbs down at today's WW meeting! Down about 6 total since starting. I'm really happy with this loss but a teeny bit concerned about dieting impacting my breastmilk supply but I think it has been okay.
I'm so glad I signed up for the WW app! My first week I lost 5 pounds, I'm curious to see how I do this week....I assume it will slow down. I've been having a hard time hitting my points every day (30) which I didn't think is a big deal but I thought I read that it's important to get within a certain range. I think 27-30 maybe. Any suggestions?
I weighed in last week and this week...no movement either way, which is disappointing, but then again, its only one week...I didn't gain an extra 20 lbs in a week, and it will take time, especially since I am making incremental minor changes.
I also didn't stick 100% to my eating healthy, so I can't beat myself up over the scale. I only ate out 2 times, so my wallet is heavier!
I haven't checked in in awhile because I haven't really been giving this much effort. I've just been trying to focus on feeling good. I recently had an OB check-up and at 18 weeks pregnant, I'm only up 6ishlbs. OB said that's on track to gain 20lbs, which is great. A doctor actually used the word "great" in regard to my weight instead of "obese" and all the other shitty words, lol. KOKO, I guess.
Can anyone share what they eat in a day to keep them satisfied and losing weight?
A sometimes work day:
breakfast: piece/portion of fruit, 2 hard boiled eggs, 1 cup of almond milk (latte) 11: piece/portion of fruit lunch: spinach salad, 2 oz blackbeans, carrot chips, salsa verde, chicken or tuna with a little light miracle whip, salt, pepper, sometimes little tomatoes, 2 oz of hummus 4/5: piece/portion of fruit dinner: Protein heavy something, usually lean. veggie side.
Depending on how the points filter out I'll add an extra protein bar, maybe rice cakes, skinnypop, halotop, etc.
I am just down 1.2 pounds this week but I am pleased with that. We have had family in town and have been eating out some. I am down 6.6 pounds total since June 8th. I am just glad things are moving in the right direction. Now, I need to buckle back down and hopefully lose a few more pounds before our vacation in July.

I'm nearing the end of my 2 week European vacation in which I have eaten all the food and drinks in Germany, Austria, and Czech Republic.... so, not so great weight wise I'm sure. Back on track Sat when we are home, I'll probably cringe when I see the scale!

Sounds like a great vacation and totally worth the extra pounds!

You'll be 5 lbs lighter. It always happens when we go to Europe. We eat all the food and come back 5 lbs lighter from all the walking.
