How to transition to formula?

S is almost 7m old and she has a milk allergy. I can't have any hidden dairy at all or she's a mess from it. I'm ready to wean her but want to make sure she will take the formula ok before I start weaning. I tried giving her bottles of nutramigen today and she only took about 1/2 of what she normally drinks at daycare. She won't drink alimentum. Should I try mixing it with Breast milk first? 50/50? Any other tips?

We did a 75:25 BM:formula mix for two or three days and then gradually increased the formula level. It took a little over a week, and DD had no issues.

Yes, this is what we did as well, and DD did fine with it.
