Y'all my favorite walkable ballet flats from J. Crew aren't available anymore! NOOOOOO! And I am VERY much in need. Please help!
I'm looking for a ballet flat that is comfortable enough to wear walking around airports / all day. I have pretty robust feet, so don't typically need insoles, support, but do like a little cushion if possible. *BONUS* if the flats can be folded up teeny tiny.
I wear heels in client meetings & then typically swap into flats after the sessions (when I run to the airport). HELP! I'm so sad about my discontinued Crews. Grrrr.
I'm happy to pay more for really comfy stuff, so don't worry about price in sharing your recos. THANK YOU. (heart)
UPDATE: My first additions are going to be the Vince Camuto's that UnderProtest and MrsE suggested - they are a great price to value, very comfy. I'm going to get a pair of Tieks and Repettos to try out / test next, will likely get a more "fun" print in the Tieks and a neutral in the Repettos. Thank you all so much!!! #ShoeDrama

If you're willing to pay more, absolutely go for Tieks! I was super skeptical for the longest time, but the pair I have I took out of the box and immediately wore walking around NYC all day with no pain, blisters, anything. They pack down small, and they come with a pretty little bag to put them in once you fold them so they don't get the inside of your bag all icky.

I agree with the others on the Tieks! Like sunshinedaydreams, I had read a lot about them and was skeptical but ever since I put them on, they've been my go-to flat. I wear them to work every day, running around airports, and all over Scotland, Vienna, etc. I'm planning on buying a second pair very soon!
I also recently bought a pair of Yosi Samra's and I like them a lot also. Very comfortable, no blisters, etc. They're my back up shoe :-)
THANK YOU all so much! I have had my eye on the Tieks so it seems like the smart ladies of MM agree. Also, I hadn't heard of some of the others y'all mentioned, so I will be doing some online shopping tonight.
My go-to flats are Cole Haan, I think the Jenni Gore style. They come up a little higher in the back so I don't get the blistering/cutting in on the heel with them. I haven't tried the other recommended brands though.
I keep seeing ads for Rothy's on FB and IG. Are they truly comfortable? I am very intrigued by them.
I have the same question. I'm skeptical of the plastic fibers. My feet look so much better in pointed flats than round toe so these seem to be my best option for durable flats, but I'm skeptical that plastic fibers can actually be comfortable.
I absolutely love my Tory Burch ballet flats. I hate the gaudy logo on the front so I only get them when she has the ones with the small logo on the side (which is not all the time).

Have you tried the Rockport ones? They were very comfortable in the store and I have ordered but not received them. They look very nice and are pointy. Edited to add that the link doesn't take you to the right page, but they are the Total motion Adelyn ballet and come in many colors
I tried the Lucky Emmie flats and find them uncomfortable. Maybe they just aren't broken in.
I love my Sam Edelman Felicia flats, they are pretty much the only flats I have ever really liked. But I don't do a lot of walking in them, and when I have they have been a little disappointing (I have wimpy feet). So helpful!

SAME. I love the Tory Birch Foundation, which is hugely supportive of women in business but I JUST CANT EVEN with those huge circle logos everywhere. Have yet to buy any TB stuff because of that damn medallion I will keep an eye out for the small logo ones, because I might be able to deal with those, ha.
Poppy , that IS helpful - I was looking at some Sam's because I have some summer sandals from there that I love! (So good to know they may be cute but not *the most* comfy.)

I bought a pair about a month ago and so far I love them. Got the pointed ones since I have 4 pairs of tieks already. They fit slightly different in the two obv but the plastic does not bother me whatsoever. They are cute and comfy. Walked 3 mi in them yesterday. Already planning my next pair. Bonus they are slightly cheaper than Tieks. Not sure they will entirely replace my Tieks but a great supplement with their different shapes and colors!!!

Thanks! I've been scouring the internet for other reviews too and I'm sold. Going to buy a pointed pair in Flax this weekend. I wish their color selection was a little better, but oh well.

Yay! I don't have mine in front of me but as I recall they fit TTS. The only thing I was a little disappointed with was shipping seemed to take forerver. Guess I've been spoiled with my next day Tiek deliveries. So just don't be surprised. I think it took like 10 days to get them, which in today's day seems like a long time. Hopefully yours will arrive sooner!!!
lurknomore do you by any chance put your own arch support in the shoes? I see that they have a removable insole to allow for that, but I wasn't sure how that would change the fit.
I live in my Vince Camuto flats. I commute via metro and walk miles in them per day. Plus, I wear them in airports. Spent days walking around multiple countries in them and they are still my favorite. I prefer the very stiff soled ones that do *not* fold up, though because of bursitis issues in my foot.

Yes! I bought a pair in May after someone on one of the boards recommended them and they are soooo comfortable! The first day I wore them I was on my feet most of the day and did a ton of waking and no blisters, sore spots, etc - my feet felt great! I wear them nearly every day to work.
I have a $20 off referral code if anyone is interested.

I've been eyeing them so this is great to know! I'd love the code if no one has claimed it.

Sorry...Just saw this. I do not use any additional arch support so I have no clue. Their return policy is great tho, so It would be worth spending a few hours wearing them inside and seeing how they feel. They do stretch, so how they feel initially will change a bit over time.
