SIL's beach wedding is coming up in the fall, kids are in the wedding, probably wearing royal/cobalt blue dress for DD and bowtie with khakis and a white shirt for DS. I'm hoping to get a decent family photo while we're there, so I want us to coordinate. DH will probably wear khakis and a shirt in whatever shade of blue I buy for him. Is this too white to wear as a wedding guest?
"Hello babies. Welcome to Earth. It's hot in the summer and cold in the winter. It's round and wet and crowded. On the outside, babies, you've got a hundred years here. There's only one rule that I know of, babies-"God damn it, you've got to be kind.”
I need ham like water Like breath, like rain I need ham like mercy From Heaven's gate Sometimes ham salad or casserole or ham that’s free range, all natural I need ham
Thank you all for your validation This is what I want DD to wear, but I think it may not be what she had in mind so I see some negotiating in my future. I can't decide if I'm glad SIL's only criteria for the kids was blue for the dress/tie, or if it would have been easier to not have choices.
Another vote for totally appropriate, and also, where is it from? I've been searching for something just like it for a wedding I'm attending in a few weeks!

Nordstrom! I'm sure it's out there somewhere, but I haven't seen anything else that hits between too formal and too casual even for a beach wedding.
I think its great...and as an aside, its a very flattering dress. mactastic, Its Eliza J brand, there are several different prints/styles but with the same structure. Very flattering!

I wore that dress to a wedding last year and got so many compliments. I love it.
Can I ask a sizing question? I'm right on the edge of petite or regular at 5'4", where does the waist hit? I often end up needing the petite if it's a lower waist, otherwise I end up with a ton of extra fabric that drapes weird.

I'm 5'5 with an average torso, it hit at my natural waist. It is super long though, even in heels it dragged a bit.
