1. I'm going to sing and it's going to be bad. Aerosmith's What it Takes acapella. Or maybe a dance routine while wearing headphones (so only I can hear the music). Like a solo silent disco...
2. I swore for awhile that I was having dreams about things in advance of them happening in real life, but I haven't had one in awhile since I've been getting more sleep.
ETA: I can also say the alphabet backwards perfectly: fast, slow, in a song. I'm amazing at it.
1. Secret talent, I can hold on to one end of a noodle coming out of my nose, and the other coming out of my mouth. I discovered this is 7th grade right before a real-life talent show. Sadly, I didn't win.
2. No. but I have a friend who is kind of medium-ish, who has said incredibly bizarre things to me in the past about my mom.
1. Not sure if you know this... Buuuuttt... I used to be a competitive Irish Step dancer. So, I'd make a fool of myself trying to remember some of it, while likely injuring my old, unflexible body at this stage of life. 2. nope
1. My talent is cracking every joint in my body, so I could do that and make the whole audience throw up and pass out.
2. Definitely. I had a dream once that involved my maternal grandfather, who had been dead for 5 years, telling me how sad my cousins and I would be very soon. I asked him if we would be sad like we were when he died, and he said yes. I woke up to a phone call from my mom, telling me to go say my final goodbyes to my paternal grandmother. She passed later that day. She was very old, but her death wasn't imminent until that moment, so it wasn't like it was on my mind and prompted the dream, you know?
1. I'll probably dance, since I grew up doing it, but it won't be good. At all. I have lost all flexibility and grace.
2. I used to be able to predict songs on the radio. I'd randomly have a song pop into my head and I would change the radio station and it would be playing. My friend didn't believe me until we were driving somewhere and we were discussing songs we hadn't heard in a while. I told her I hadn't heard "whatever song I was thinking of" in forever. She turned the channel and it was playing on the other station.
Random side story: right after I graduated college my mom took me to a psychic for my birthday (totally just for fun). The psychic kept telling me that she saw the person I would marry and described H (then BF), however she kept saying that she saw a uniform. H doesn't wear a uniform so I didn't put any stock into it. Then she started insisting that she saw a right knee injury. I told her I had no idea what she was talking about. She kept asking me "are you sure, because I'm really sensing this." Nope, sorry lady. It was only after we were on our way home that it hit me: DH was in sales at the time, worked at Cintas, and SOLD uniforms. And, as my mom pointed out to me, my dad had had surgery (on his right knee) the week before. It didn't even cross my mind at the time. Psychic fail on my part.

1. I can burp the alphabet. I'm quite the catch. 2. No. The only thing I can predict is how a TV show will play out. I think its from my 8 year stint of watching All My Children and General Hospital religiously.

1. I have a good arm, even now, so I'd say throwing a football or baseball.
2. Only with my sister. We are 1 year, 10 days apart and even though we live 1,000 miles apart we will wear similar outfits when we see each other and we can figure out what the other is trying to say without giving too much detail. Otherwise, I'd say no although I wish I did because I find it fascinating.
1. I would either sing or try and play an instrument, although I'd sound pretty rusty, since I have practiced in a long time.
2. I have also had dreams where I've seen things that hadn't happened yet, like HeartofCheese. It would always be a weird feeling of deja vu when I would experience it in real life when it was actually happening. Usually in the dream it was almost like looking at a picture, or like time was frozen. Weird. I don't feel like I've had those dreams in a while though.
1. Singing kids songs 2. I get deja vu - not all the time but enough that it freaks me out. Had it happen this past weekend at the cabin. Usually a conversation is happening and it's familiar to me, like I've heard it or had it before.

1. I played the violin from 9 years old to 20 ish and then haven't touched it since. I don't think it will be cats shrieking bad but I'm certainly not going to be able to play like I used to.
2. Not in any way. I am a very boring person. I don't even dream. Maybe a deja vu moment every blue moon but that's it.
1. I can make up awesome kid stories on the spot. My kids love when I make up a story, where they get to throw curve balls ("But the princess rode a bicycle and her hair got tangled up in the pedals!") It's like the cleanest improv ever.
2. Yes. Lots of times. I used to read tarot cards for my friends, but it got too creepily accurate so I stopped. (Second talent show idea! Tarot card reader!) A few weeks ago, I had a late afternoon meeting. The person had another meeting run late and called to say he was outside my building if I still had time to talk. It was already a few minutes past my normal quittin' time. Normally, this is a no-brainer. You knock out the meeting and get home a little late. But for some reason I just felt this need to be home. Not scared or freaked out, just this overwhelming urge to leave. So I rescheduled the meeting for the next day. I got home to find DD had cut her hand badly and we needed to take her to the ER to see if she needed stitches.

During my first month of law school, a friend and I did two tarot card readings for me over the course of a week or so. Both resulted in the lovers card in the same position, the "decision"(?) position. Shortly after that, we were trying to decide whether to go to a party some guys were throwing. I had already had one bad romantic rendezvous, so I wasn't going to go and focus on my studies instead. We ultimately decided to go. This is where I met MH. Which changed my entire life. He was my contact for a fundraiser I was organizing so I feel, though, that I would have met him one way or another...
1. I make up kid songs . There is one I made up and it has stuck so ds1 thinks it's real and everyone should know it.
2. I used to have a lot of Predictive dreams as a kid. My recurring nightmare as a child was that I got off the school bus and my house was on fire. When I was I n college that house (we had long since moved) burned down at 3:30pm. There were others too but I don't remember them.
jlaok - that is what I sang DS and DDs when they couldn't sleep in the middle of the night. It may have contributed to DH being sure he would have a husband, not a wife.
1. I would sing REM's It's The End of the World with a pencil in my mouth. Old school debate talent.
1. I will be reading a selection of children's books. I'm rather proud of how well I read aloud. I used to do story time at the bookstore, way back in the day.
2. I'm a super skeptic in general, don't believe in supernatural things as a rule, but I had two very clear, vivid dreams come true years later. One that I would have a son and the other that I would be pregnant at my sister's wedding.
So I used to think I knew all the words then DH and I, along with some friends, decided to karaoke it when we were dating. Lesson learned we did not know the lyrics and it was bad enough a kind man came and rescued our group by finishing it for us.

1. I can do a few basic yo-yo tricks. Like Around the World and Walk the Dog.
2. Not psychic, but I feel like I have a strong emotional connection to the weather. Is there a word for that? Example: a couple of winters ago, every time I knew my ex's affair partner was visiting town (I knew because he would build his schedule around these visits, and that schedule would impact me), I would wish for awful weather. I didn't want her to like my city and decide to relocate here and edge her way into DS's life. And it worked. Really strong rain and windstorms, strong even for what is typical here. The kind of wind that knocks down old trees. And the storms would always abate when she left.
