DD2 has been attending an AMAZING in-home daycare for the past 2+ years. Her last day will be this Friday; she starts preschool the following Monday.
We are trying to save money right now, so I'm in need of inexpensive but special ideas for good-bye gifts. One other little girl left earlier this summer for pre-school and they gave the DCP a memory book. I don't want to repeat this gift.
Flowers, gift cards to craft stores and bottles of wine are three ideas that come to mind too. Anything else?

DS2 just had his last day at the center where we've been going for the last 7.5 years on Friday. We took in cupcakes for all of the teachers and staff and a gift card and thank you note for his teacher.
Our favorite teacher ever just left DD's daycare center. We gave her a case of Monster energy drinks and a gift card. Substitute anything you know your DCP loves for Monster drinks.
We got our nanny a really nice potted plant with a little note that said "Thank you for helping us grow." But, I knew shew as a gardener so it worked. She loved it.
