My sister has 2 pugs named Henry and Francis. They take them for play dates to their neighbors who have 2 girl pugs named Nikki and Dakota. I refer to the girl pugs as the Hooters Pugs.
I gave my younger daughter the initials COC and also her first and middle rhyme with a really famous literary character. I didn't realize this until a few weeks after she was born. I get to claim pregnancy/newborn fog, but not sure what my husband's excuse is. Anyway, neither really bother me. I'll just get anything monogrammed the cCo way instead lol.

So hopefully me putting in this pic works. I saw this pregnancy announcement on my fbook feed the other day and the flameful part is, I totally judge it. I know I shouldn't and hey their baby, their choice etc, but it's just so...weird? to me.
I took my maiden name as my middle name when I got married. And took H’s last name.
My daughter’s middle name is actually my mother’s maiden name, but mostly because I was very close to my maternal grandmother, and she HATED her first and middle name, so this seemed like the best way to honor her.
My daughter’s first name came from cleo29 . Her daughter is a year older than mine, I think. When I was pregnant and stuck on names, I shamelessly “stole” the name.
You bitch! Also, her middle name is my maternal grandma's maiden name, which is lovely and I like that it keeps the Spanish side alive or at least honored. I was able to tell her I was going to do this whenever I had a child before she died. I think for a moment she thought I was telling her I was pregnant, I should have just gone with it. Her eyes were so happy and she was no longer able to talk at that point. Still, I am happy she knew.
Totally kidding. And for all people claim it is so popular, I can never find her name on when looking for personalized mugs, necklaces, barrettes, etc.
I kept my middle name since it was my paternal grandma's name. I feel like that already honored my family and I already felt it was a special honor. I was ok giving up my maiden name.

OMG my mom told me about him (I was born in Fairfax, and she had friends who saw him).
I remember seeing this dude's name, and when I saw the link, I was like "I wonder if that's the one in FxCo." Totally unfortunate name, ironic choice of profession with said unfortunate name.

I don't see how this is possible. Was the oldest under 3? That's 3 pregnancies, so roughly 27 months.
You only count from after the birth of the first one, so only 2 pregnancies. Baby 1 was born, ~10 months later twins, ~10 months later another baby, at which point oldest is ~20 months old.
I've seen girls in the South not be given middle names bc the maiden becomes the middle when they marry ... Annie Baker at birth becomes Annie Baker Cook upon marriage.
Not southern, but this is why my parents didn't give any of the girls in my family middle names.
I don't think I would ever bestow my maiden name on a child as a first name. Though it is the first name of the original manufacturer of a well known school supply, so it used to be a first name, though not terribly common. I think that is suitably vague, lol.
There's a law firm across the street from Wesley's school, "Garfinkel Whynot PA". Lol. Whynot indeed!
I...think I live near you? I drive by a building with that name every day! I wonder if it's a ruse for some shady dealings, but with a name like that, it has to be real, right?

If it's across from the post office we are definitely "neighbors".

My aunt has 8 kids - by three (of her 5 so far) husbands. Two by one of her husbands, then four by another then 2 by yet another. I don't know what number each husband was - I don't keep track.
But the four middle kids are each between 10 and 11 months apart. They call each other Irish triplets. Her house must have been pure insanity for a period of about 5 years...I love kids and babies and would have a dozen of I had the resources but 11 months apart? No way.
As a twin mom, I speak for many of us when I say "enough of the Irish twins/triplets comments from singeton mom" and as a twin mom, I hate the twin mom vs singeton mom stuff. But man oh man some singeton mamas and their desire to relate to moms of multiples does not come off well.
Yup.
I heard several times when my girls were infants/toddlers 'I have a 5 year old and 3.5 year old twins... that's the same'. No. No it is not. One guy told me he knocked up two women within a couple months of one another. His ex-girlfriend, whom lived out of state, had twins and his girlfriend had a singleton so he can totally relate to having triplets.
