I just sat throught an hour meeting @ 730am on a friday to go over the "basics of microsoft excel" with our entire staff.
I've been using excel sicne I was 16. It was ridiculous. This wasn't using macros and such, it was more on the lines of "here's how to do a sum function." Shoot. Me. Now.
Our manager is notorious for not singling out one person or a small subset of employers who need specific training. Instead, we all get it and it's mandatory.

I was told on Thursday morning that I have to work Sunday at our university's commencement.
ETA: Because my boss made a giant error and distributing something during commencement is his fix-it plan. I live an hour away, already have plans to celebrate another friend's graduation, and there is NOWHERE to park within two miles of campus.
I have a large team meeting today that I know will involve a bomb being dropped on everyone...I'm just hoping it is the one I know about that I know others don't.
I also have a bunch of other issues I'm dealing with. So today could be anywhere from great day with a lot of resolution to literally worst day ever.
re: Excel or other commonly used computer functions...
don't. get. me. started. Yesterday, it was "my pop up blocker is blocking the page that needs to come up. So.... I mean.... I turned it OFF! and then I click the button again and its STILL blocking it. And I checked the pop-up blocker again, and it SAYS its off, so why does it continue to block it..." OMG. STOP. Hold down the control key and click the link again.
"So.... I hold down control... and then I go to the Tools, then Pop-Up blocker?"
NO! ARGH. Just click the little icon that you want the NEW PAGE to open up from while holding down control!!!!!

Oh gosh I have one.
My boss is wrong on something that needed to get brought to her attention. I won't go into detail but now I'm at the mercy of someone when I shouldn't be. It's so frustrating.
Yesterday was the last day of school for us, students got out at 11:30 It's been a 15+ year tradition that at 1:00 pm on the last day of school that administration will issue a radon alert and have us all leave the building. It's so nice to get out early on the last day, every one is stressed and snipping at each other. New admin would. no. do. it. He thought it was ridiculous. He said we are contracted to be here until 4 and he expects us to be here until 4. Not happy.
Also, the office will be closed on Fridays this summer, which is fine. They expect us to do 10 hour days. Last year we were closed on Fridays and we had the option of 10 hour days, but they weren't required. I was looking forward to relaxing and enjoying my summer, not being in the office by 7 am and staying until 5:30.

Management keeps telling me I'm doing an awesome job and that I am exceeding expectations, doing everything right...yet I am not getting new projects. The ones I have aren't keeping me busy enough and I'm worried about that.
I got roped into filling in for someone on maternity leave in a totally different department and I am really not liking the extra work. She had her baby a month early so i'm hoping that means she will return to work early.

I've had a lot of unpleasant conversations with my staff lately. Stuff that, in most cases, I should never have to discuss. Things like "if you accept a meeting request, and then can't make it, please notify the coordinator. Just not showing up is not acceptable.". And "as a senior member of my staff, you really shouldn't announce in the staff meeting that we are all being set up to fail because I laid off one incompetent staff member. It undermines me and it makes junior staff members nervous. If you have concerns, take it up with me privately."
These people are director level. Use your heads, people!
-I've been pissed for a year that they haven't placed me on the leadership team and finally today they send me an email "welcome to the senior leadership team " and proceed to plan the first meeting when I supposed to go on Vacation. Motherfuckers! Changing flights to go to a meeting just what I want to do.
-I'm the only black person on staff and its really starting to piss me off. (although I think its a little job security LOL)
Please let me win the lottery..........................
So "bomb" meeting was what I thought it was, so that's good. But I just found new person made a big mistake that I have to discuss with client in 5 minutes and possibly spend all afternoon fixing.
My coworker keeps coming over and loudly giving me "friendly reminders" do something he emailed me to do like an hour ago. Seriously, I have *many* different responsibilities and I don't always have time to get to his requests so quickly. I share an office with my boss and i feel like he's making me look bad in front of everyone. Sometimes he just yells them to me from him cube.
This is the same coworker who will come over and ask me questions as I walk in the door, before I've even taken my coat off. He's new and I think he's WAY overeager. It is so annoying.
They blocked me from downloading Chrome. Even at home when not on the VPN. Now gmail looks wonky and the birchbox website won't work. I am irrationally ticked about this and wish I were smart enough to work around.
I work insde a bank location. The manager and one of the bankers cannot communicate with each other unless they are yelling. Not in a fight way, just how they talk. Banker sits right outside managers office. Building is huge and open which means it resonates loudly everywhere.

My coworker just asked if I'd review a big report she plans to send out because she is a terrible communicator and needs help.
Fine, but she wants to send it out today. It's 4pm on the Friday before I start vacation. I usually stop working at 4:30pm. Seriously? It's not my fault you just got done, that it's due on Monday and that you need assistance to write basic documents.
At least I'm working from home and can grab the booze as soon as I'm done.
My work has decided to change a procedure again the the millionth time. One that is very loosely followed by the upper management. But is soooooo important we have to implement it immediately. Yet, when we try to actually implement it going back and forth with our vendors and still not getting the correct requirements because of all these procedural changes is confusing them, management will say, "it's ok this one time." The one time turns into a bunch of times.
Such a waste of time. And I'm sure this doesn't make sense.
