I got called for an interview. Yay! Multiple openings, and I'm perfectly qualified for a few.
Question: In trying to research company, I saw a staff member that I worked with in hi. Do I have to disclose this? He was a less than once a week employee (did his residence under my boss elsewhere and picked up a few hours extra in our clinic). I wouldn't be working for him. I just don't know what's ethical. Or beneficial
Work board for this week is "what is your myers briggs personality?" Lots of I's as expected, with a few E's thrown in. Which spawned the telling of this joke:
What's the difference between an introverted engineer and an extroverted engineer? The introvert will look at their shoes while talking to you, while the extrovert will look at your shoes.

ba-ba-bum-tish
I look just past people's ear thank you very much. Or in the middle of their forehead if I'm making an effort.
Unless I'm thinking really hard. And then yeah...shoes.

I put 16personalities.com on the board for people to take if they didn't know. It's a really simplified version of the test, but seems to be ok. Everyone who already knew what they were and retook the test on the website came away with the same score.

Show them the Adam runs everything ep on Myers Briggs. Complete bullshit. (And totally accurate for my intp)
I was at work until 9:30 last night. That's a 14 hour day. Ugh.
My right quad is KILLING me. I think specifically my medialus. It was hurting yesterday and still is today. I don't recall doing anything beyond gardening on Sunday. ETA: We did go to the Zoo on saturday and there was a fair amount of hauling things around in a wagon... but still.

I know we've discussed here that M-B and other tests are pretty much crap and should be taken worth a grain of salt.
That said, mine is totally accurate. Same with my DISC test.
There's a tropical something over us right now (not sure it ever made it up to TD or TS status) and seeing everyone clutch their pearls over it is making me rage. Have some damn perspective. We're having a rainy day. It happens.

My Florida Bahamian self who's gone through who knows how many tropical events was in a rage in rural northern Japan.
Yes, it was a td. Yes it was lots of rain and some mild gusts.
Stfu about your "catastrophe." My internet got installed that day!

Random aside: people who get migraines, do you have weird food cravings during/after? I had one Sunday and Monday and have fluctuated between nausea and wanting to eat ALL the unhealthy things.

I really want a hot drink with whipped cream on it.
SF comicon countdown is ON! I'm gonna meet Nichelle Nichols! I wonder if I can bring my copy of her autobiography to get signed? Or if she'll give me that look my grandmother would've given me for showing up in a purple wig.

There are some good ones. For two different leadership events, we used Humanmetrics.com. It was pretty accurate.
This is probably going to be my random until May - I wish like 3 kids in my one class would just stop coming. I know that's terrible, but man, life would be SO much better for all of us.

whenenver the MB test subject comes up I always take it again, because I'm always curious if today is an ENTJ day or an INTJ day. I flip flop depending on which questions they ask. Every once in a while I'll get an ENTP too. the NT never moves. But my social introversion and the fact that I plan SO MINUTELY for things that I'm cool with spontaneous changes because they're already in my contingency plans confuse the tests sometimes.
I took both of the mentioned tests today for shits and giggles and got one of each.
