So my doc put me on progesterone to jump start my period (she's co rodent that if I can get my progesterone to normal levels, I can have a healthy pregnancy), and then referred me to an RE (she's amazing...I'm so glad I decided to change again).
Anyway, I read the brittle nails, cracked heels, and acne could all be signs of progesterone deficiency. Besides the short LP and spotting, I did not realize these are symptoms. Also the fact that I had PPROM should've clued everyone in.
I've struggled with all of these things for the last 5 or so months, and I wish my previous doctors had taken me more seriously when I mentioned it to them.
I thought I'd write it here in case you have these issues as well, and to keep looking for a doc who is in your corner.

I'm so glad you got a referral and will hopefully get some answers! Will they test your progesterone when you go in to see your new doc? I have all these symptoms but they also overlap with other symptoms of other things I do or might have (lol wtf) and I'm pushing to have progesterone as part of my workup this cycle. Even my RE kind of thinks it's probably not that likely but I'm a "what if" kind of gal. I really hope this does the trick for you and you're able to supplement and get pregnant!
Normally my LP is 14 days, but my RE had me taking progesterone suppositories starting a week after our IUI last time. Then it continued through 10 weeks. I hated taking them because I gained a ton of weight then, but it's already on the back of my mind if we are somehow able to conceive on our own this time.

This dr sounds great! It's amazing what a difference that makes. My dr retired and I haven't found anyone nearly as good, so I get it. We met with an RE last month's and although I think he's nice, I don't feel he's the right one. It's so hard to find the right care. I hope this is it for you.
