Did anyone here who registered get an email today confirming that they are getting a code? DH and I both got standby and none of our friends got in either. To say I'm disappointed is an understatement.
I got a code! I can buy tickets Wednesday.
I did, too. Now I just hope I actually get tickets! I'll have to scope out the seating chart to prep. Good luck to everyone!
I know there are some people on here got tickets. I went to see it last week and woah, it was SO GOOD!
I had read the script and hated it. If I could have got a refund I would have considered it, but the show was amazing.
I even registered for the NYC ticket release!!
I haven't read the script. I'm contemplating taking my 8 year old son. Assuming it would be fine for that age? Will he need to have read Harry Potter first to enjoy or understand it?

The script is ...ooph. So saccharine and feels written by a middle schooler (sorry, just my feelings). It's mostly about parental/child love.
Dementors do make an appearance and there's a Time Turner. Voldemort is referenced a lot as is Cedric Diggory. I feel like he's need some familiarity with Harry Potter to understand it.

Usually with verified it comes the morning of the day you can purchase. So, for me at least, that would be tomorrow morning. It should tell you in your email.

Durrr, thank you. I thought it was today! I was on a field trip at a farm with my DD freaking out about trying to buy them!
Im trying right now...There are still dates that they have tickets for, its just a matter of getting a date that I want I think.
Yeah, most of my time is spent waiting to see if there are tickets available (at the price I want) on the dates I'm trying.
I hate how ticketmaster makes you look at each individual date.
So far, I have had one set come up for a date I wanted, but at $200/each ticket, each part - it came to $850...so, no. lol. They were front row though.
We live about 3 hrs away so could be flexible, so we got a Sunday in July. It was taking so long that when it finally said they were available I just took it even though we wanted a Saturday. Excited!!
I think I am going to give up. The only ones I have been able to pull are $199...and since I have already seen it, I just can't stomach that cost.
Womp womp
Yeah, I gave up as well. I also had awesome seats come up, but for the same price as you and I couldn't stomach it either since it's technically 4x that amount. I could have tried non-Saturdays, but it's harder with my husband's schedule to do that so didn't bother.
I am now just hoping it'll eventually come to our local theater like Hamilton is. It's won't be actual Broadway, but the shows they have come are usually really good. Fingers crossed.
