CNN alert says Pence walked out of a NFL game when some players kneeled. He didn't want to dignify the event.
I’m so glad we wasted who knows how much money securing this venue just so he could feign surprise, shock, and horror at something we all knew was going to happen again. I mean really.
Here's the WaPo link on the Corker story, if it wasn't posted. Because:
One source familiar with Trump and Corker's recent conversations refuted each of the claims the president made in his tweets. Trump called Corker early last week and asked him to reconsider his decision not to seek reelection, according to this source, who spoke only on the condition of anonymity because of the sensitivity of the private conversations. This source said that the president also reaffirmed that he would have endorsed Corker had he decided to seek reelection -- which, this source added, was not the first time Trump had extended such an offer of support.

I really wish media would loudly point out THEY ARE NOT PROTESTING THE ANTHEM OR SOLDIERS instead of acting like these are actually two legitimate sides of an issue. Lots of people are completely missing the point, either obtusely or deliberately, can we point that out please?

I also had to explain my jubilant LOL to H; he wasn’t as impressed 😋 I tried to revive it by throwing out some “Mother May I” sex jokes, but it still didn’t win him over. SO I’m so glad you get me, yo!

Back home (from a quick trip to DC for the incredible National Museum of African-American History and Culture) and I can finally post the pic of the "Presidenski" drink.
