I used to. It was fine. No side effects. Once it fell out. Digging up there to retrieve it was never a pleasant experience.
LOL, yeah, I don't love inserting or removing it, but it takes a few seconds twice a month.
I have been using it for 6+ years and don't even know what the side effects are anymore. I have anxiety and low libido, but I'm hesitant to blame those on NuvaRing because I think this might just be my natural state.

Pretty much all of this. My doctor had me put it in on the 1st and take it out on the 25th so I wouldn't forget. It was so much more convenient than the pill.
I used it for several years when it first came out. I loved the convenience aspect of it and never had any problems with removal/insertion. It never fell out and was not a problem during sex. Unfortunately, I tend to get bad side effects on any hormonal birth control (very low sex drive, wild emotional swings, headaches), so eventually I went off of it.
Loved the ease. But killed my sex drive. I didn't even realize it until I stopped using it. I (and DH) am so glad that I am back to actually wanting sex again, I feel my age!

I used it for years and loved it. I didn't even mind the insertion and removal all that much.
I only went off of it because I was having surgeries that wouldn't allow me to insert or remove it because of limited upper body motion. So I got an IUD instead. Otherwise I would probably still have it.

i've been using it for years and love it for the convenience. it does kill my sex drive, but so has every other birth control option i've ever used. the insertion/removal don't bother me so much. however, while it usually doesn't cause a problem during sex, dh has definitely hooked it on several occasions!
I have been on it for 2 years and I honestly don't think I'll use anything else. I have much less side effects than a daily pill, I think it's because of the constant low-dose hormones as opposed to a 'peak' once/day. The headaches during the no-ring week are more intense, but my sex drive is totally normal after fighting with low sex drive for years. I've never once had it fall out, though it came out once, erm, during sex. I love not having to think about it.
My side effects thus far: - Floopage - Random mentrual cramp like cramping at inexplicable times - Occasional nausea
I haven't noticed it doing anything to my sex drive, but even with being off hormonal BC for about 2 years, before going onto NuvaRing, my libido has been lower than I would prefer.

I've been on it six years now and can't imagine switching to something else. No side effects for me. I also love skipping my periods with it. I generally only have periods 4-5 times a year and can basically choose when they are.
I tried it years ago as an alternative to the pill which made me sick. I did not have a good experience, it made sex seriously painful for me. But many other people seem to have no issues.

I just started this month and won't be continuing. I feel exactly like I did when in first trimester and it has absolutely killed my sex drive. I hate hate hate it.
Life changing. I love it and won't switch until I work up the courage to get an IUD. I have zero side effects, no decrease in sex drive, and much lighter periods.
5 years and it's come out exactly once, and it was during sex. I'm kind of giggling at the idea of it falling out all over the place. Does it end up in your shoe or fall out of your pant leg completely?
