I've never had one because I've never looked for a job were I needed one and I'm lost.. Help please?!

Google resumes so that you can get a feel for the format. What is your field? You should be able to find specific examples of resumes in your field to start.

Go to the library. I liked seeing some examples in book and flipping thru examples. But be warned that lots of the example resumes suck, too. But its free and really helpful to stack up some samples and to get some tips.
